Just a thought

Received a SS Barchetta logo for the back......think it is Huge. Maybe a bit to big for my like. Compared to the subtle FIAT (wich I painted in SILK BLACK, and RED) logo it is very shiny on the back.It also the only shiny bit. What do you think ?..........Should I not install it, or should I paint it first (thought about RED).

I just installed a stainless steel front and rear logo on a black b.

I got them from barchettaparts.com in Holland and I think they look great :D Much better than my faded old fiat badges

If this is where you got yours from you could always swap them for the smaller badge that they do for the side of the car, you will get 2 for the price of 1 !

Had fun taking the old badges off

The front one is held in position by a 8mm nut that you can reach from the gap above the front bumper.

The rear is not bolted on as i found out the hard way... after removing the interiour trim and rear light trying to gain access I discovered that it is just clipped into position as well as stuck on with a foam adhesive pad which was a bit of a bitch to get off !! bit of the girlfriends nail varnish remover did the trick though

Don't do it:yuck:

I really don't like the look of those massive badges. Maybe a small silver barchetta script badge would look good as long as it's subtle. I think the small fiat logo looks fine if it's in good condition(y)

I'm going to have my rear debadged too when I'm having it re-done...(y) I do like the B-logo on the back, but the sponge snags on it when washing it

Avoid one of the major badge merchants on ebay..the guy who does all the makes. I got a 'no pay' strike after 2 days and he doesn't read/answer any queries..

Good to see I'm not the only one with doubts. I'll wait and see some in real life and then leave it up to the missus
Shame they don't do one in about 15 cm, might be just right.

Barchettaparts do one that is about 10cm long if you need a small one....
Actually they come in sets of 2 so you could flog one to a friend :D

Maybe/probable looks better on silver grey cars. On black it is a bit PRESENT. I'll be thinking about it, no hurry. 10cm badge doesn't seem to seal of the two holes from the original badge.

Sunny Funny: either my eyes are spazzing out on me or your B looks like it's almost a dark chocolate-brown colour in that sunlight! Take it it's black? Whatever, I like it, looks good (y)

Edit: I mean the picture in post #16, not the pics of the B in the garage!
