Now this may be common knowledge among the more skilled European spare part buyers but not to me. I assumed Germany was THE no 1 outlet for B parts and maybe it is, since it is often mentioned here as the biggest source. But the Dutch tend not to use Ebay.nl as a first choice auction site to flog bits, they use Markplatz.nl for preference. And a search for anderlen Fiat Barchetta + hardtops reveals there are around 12 hartops on sale today in varying colours including a special Wiesmann at 1450 euro. Also on offer is a special wheeled trolley to store a B hardtop in the garage. This compares to one only hardtop on Ebay.uk. Maybe they have other useful parts on offer too. A hop to Holland is a easier option for most UK based folk.

Nice one (y)

Must admit, I always thought German eBay was the place for Barchetta parts too. If anyone needs it, I found a pretty good English-Dutch car parts-specific wordlist online. There's also a German one I posted on a thread somewhere if anyone's going to scour eBay.de.

I found out one hardtop for 1000€ before in NL... its ok price, but then i found out that I'll have to pay 500€ for shipment and wooden box for hardtop :eek:. and that's not all folks!!, then i have to pay some who-knows-how-much € for import duties. so I give up...
i have to work almost one month just for shipment and "wooden box" :)

To pay postage for a "wooden box" at least the size of a hardtop would be a touch cost prohibitive to most folks, let alone to Croatia imo I thought somehow maybe it just might be collected on the roof of a car saving a bit of tax too! Just a random thought.

i found one silver (as my B) hardtop in my country, just 200 miles from me. :)
price is 1200€ but i believe he will sell me for 1000€. he told me that there are two types of hardtops: plastic and metal. Is that true? because this one is (heavy) metal :slayer:.

Fiat metal OEM hardtop and the Wiesmann fiberglass.

Everybody should check out the Dutch site -- I just bought an excellent Hardtop for 600 Euros - it was even the right metallic green colour.
I am looking for 2 striker plates -- for locating the hardtop.
Anyway many thanks for the advice:)
