Personally like the twin pipes but the single oval seems more popular - DTR's web site has a few piccies..............

I prefer twin pipes, they seem to suite the subtle shape of the car better.

Now, I wonder if you can get them in yellow........

I would die for the 4 exausts DTR makes! twin on each side! but dear god the $$$ for it is too much :(

Second choice is the supersprint exaust ;)

Personally prefer the single oval - to my mind, it suits the elegant styling of the B. I have been accused of always taking the understated option - Prefer it to look like less but be more than the other way around. Hence why I always think big sporty exhausts look a little silly on a 1.2 litre Saxo, etc.!

I went for the twin-pipe stainless steel one from DTR last month - happy with it generally, though if you're not in the mood the loudness of the exhaust can be a bit...unrelenting. Just have to turn the music up a bit louder :slayer:

I will be going for the twin pipe's once I find another job, either DTR or MIJ's custom build system...............just need a bit of money!

Could anyone tell me how a complete novice finds out if the exhaust is the orignal heavy one or has been replaced at some point?

I live on an unadopted road full of potholes and my exhausts have a habit of dropping off anyway so I thought it might be worth putting on a lighter one as a preventative measure.

Thanks

Shel

Wouldn't the stainless steel of a DTR exhaust look quite different to the original? My local tyre/exhaust place had a B exhaust in stock which is rare. Maybe is you posted a pic it could be identified.

If/when my exhaust goes, I want the oval DTR. Expensive but I want to be deafened by the sound. Does anyone know what the lifetime guarantee from DTR means? – that you never have to buy another exhaust for that car?

The difference between an original and replacement exhaust is quite easy to spot, this is a diagram of the original exhaust........

Replacement exhausts tent to have a thinner centre box, don't have the bulky 'triangular' section in the middle and have a 'straight through' rear box, if your exhaust looks anything like the above diagram then its an original FIAT or standard replacement, if its thinner without the bulky rear section then its probably a stainless steel replacement.........
