Want to see how it was done and what parts I need. Never had a close up look at one before.
The problem I see is I will need a turbo manifold and thats $$$. The Intercooler and turbo is easy but the replacement pistons and head gasket I cant do myself.

Depends if you need to drive the car on Monday - then it can be a bit stressful..........
Stripped and re-bulit a 318 Tourer a few years ago, started on a Friday evening and finished Sunday evening - not much fun it has to be said!

Never rebuilt an engine before so dont have the skills. Like to pick up a secondhand B engine and strip that down and get it running again. Single garage stops me as I dont have space 2:-(
Doc, you have the skills - just don't know it yet!!! It's east as long as you have the tools, an instruction manual and the engine is out of the car...............

Sorry no one on here bought that turbo B we all could have been reading docs new write up of how to turbocharge your B
I must admit I love the idea of a turbo on the B so I emailed Novotech who were really helpfull... (not)!
