Dear all,
Winter is slowly closing in to us here in Greece so I m planning to fit the hardtop at the end of this month.
I was thinking though..
How easy would it be to remove the soft top? That being done would have the following advantages:

1) free space for things
2) less weight !!!
3) less rattling
4) best way to keep the soft top in shape

If anyone has done it, all the information possible is more than welcome!

Hiya,

Just unbolt it. very easy to do.
Undo the plastic trims for where the mechanism is and you will find the bolts holding it in place. thats it. !!

But luckily you won't be freezing as you're a Troender and hence have a moustache

Ever heard that soft tops leak when it rains? with 20C the rain drops do not have enough time to evaporate before landing on the roof....

Plus the hardtop increases the cars security against idiots with pocket knifes..:bang:

Anyway, I wont bust your bubble any longer. You can continue being jealous of my hard top

Almost. But I'm really from the south (Fredrikstad), just moved up here for a couple of years. Right now I can't understand why I did that..

Doc, could you do me a favor? could you snap a pic of the wind breaker's spoiler to see how it lines up against the tonneuakskajsd (hahahha) cover?
That would be a pic from above the rear with the roof down.

No, sorry, I cant see the spot I want.
Basically, my spoiler leaves a small gap towards the boot and even if i push it backwards its curve is more than the tonneu(what ever) cover so would still not line up.
If you can, catch a pic from the side of the car showing how they line up against each other. In simple words, the pic should be a side shot behind the windstop
