I could throw in a some Norwegian delicacies like sheep's heads, rotten fish and some disgusting dairy products. You would probably like it if you put some mint sauce on it :)

If you want I can send over some freeze dried re-formed chicken in the shape of aeroplanes, some frozen peas, ready made roast potatoes and packet gravy!!!!

Cornerstone of many a British families diet (not mine I hasten to add!!!)......

Look at the pic - it wasn't the ouzo; it is too small :eek: :eek: :confused: . And, before SS tries to be a clever bugger; yes, I know it's upside down and the wrong way around :p

So LRB, go and measure yours - and if your bolts are about 17-18cms apart you can get mine cheap(ish) :D If you do want it, send me a PM - only not Gordon Bown... :rolleyes:

The heatshield is the right up...........it's your engine that's upside down:D :D

Must have shrunk in the wash............
 
Hang on a minute Robot..........your a dipstick............I mean you're dipstick, it's in a different place to mine!! Mine is further to the left. Check out your pic and my pic, your dipstick is in line with the central bolt on the rocker cover, mine is'nt:eek:
 
Yeah, I noticed - was just comparing the pics...:eek: It does however look like the dipsticks are in the same place - only that my bolt is further to the left :eek: :eek: It almost looks like I have a different manifold or something :confused: Do Alfa manifolds, or some different Fiat manifolds, fit on the B? :confused: If so, it might have been swapped - and hence I'll need to buy a different heat shield.

I can also see your third nut down low on your pic. I've only got two :D

Cannot begin to think why your manifold should be different, the only thing I can come up with is maybe something to do with different emissions regulations in your country??:( Hence a different set-up? but that's clutching at straws:(
 
It's a German import, so I very much doubt that :( Aren't there any Alfas/Lancias/Fiats that use the same engine as the B? (Punto HGT?) It might be worth checking them out :idea:
 
You probably polish yours more than LRB :)

Had a look at ePer, and it came up with two different manifolds. The first looks like the one you've got; the second one doesn't look like mine - at least I don't think so. It's missing the two bolts :(

Yours is the same as a Hgt, strange as I thought they were all identical?
