General How many of us are out there.?

I would think that now, there will be more of an exodus than an influx. Probably quite a small exodus though:)

I looked into this the last time it was questioned...but never got around to finding out the price.

If you really need to know, this is the information I received.

Text file attached.

I couldn't decide on how much or how little information.

Colour per year

It was a black one that first sparked my interest in the B.

Spotted her in a local showroom but was sold the very next day.

I like the look of yours RoGUE , she looks very clean and looked after.

I guess all the B owners on this forum must have the extra special non standard ones.

er... dirty, standard [except dtr twin exhaust from cat back - it was cheaper than fiat] 150000kms, needs new hood and rubber seals, but winters coming so will put that off for the third year [hard top on from nov\dec to feb\march ish], original radio\cassette\cd player. half arsed ariel that works when it feels like it. Stone chipped to hell.

So apart from the exhaust - bog standard

Although... does having the Riviera Model count as extra special? :D

I've never seen one on a visit to the UK, but I'm always seeing them when I travel around Europe, I imagine the LHD is a factor there.

I would imagine more are going into the UK than the other way round because they seem to be a little cheaper here and wouldn't need any conversion work or all the hassle of re-registering etc.

LHD was a big issue for the UK - resulted in the insurance group of 19 - thats the same as a BMW M3, an Audi TT, a Merc CLK, Prosche Boxster, Cayman and Lotus Elise to name but a few!!!

Very individual cars in the UK for individual people!!!!

I put this on in March.

This is the complete breakdown of UK spec B's imported by Fiat UK. There were obvioulsy more imported privately so there are probably>1000 in the uk!
Hope this helps.
Tim:) :)

Take from that the 'B's' that have disentergrated or been involved in accidents and those that are owned by non-enthusiasts its no wonder there are only a handful of us are on the forum!

Sorry guys,I have just taken one more out of the UK to Limousin France. There is also another UK registered one near me,but don't know if he lives here,or passing through on holiday.Console yourselves with the fact that there is a new fan of B's now.It is my 1st one,and I love it!!

Welcome to the roller-coaster world of B ownership!! I have had mine since May and have enjoyed every moment of driving it - the moments that I have not enjoyed are the ones I have spent underneath it trying to remove rusty bolts!!!

Enjoy (you will) (y)

Hi Paul and welcome :)

I am planning on retiring to France, so my b will eventually leave the UK as well. Some years away yet though :(

How many do you see in France?

John
