Technical Gear box oil

Im working on my B at the moment and changed a few bushes etc and when i was under the engine saw the gearbox sump plug and filler plug !!
So as the cars 23 years old i too think i should change the gearbox oil. Ive owned it for 7 years and havnt changed it so can someone confirm that both plugs at 12mm allen key size ??
I will need to buy it !

Guys spent an hour changing the gearbox oil this afternoon. Took it a quick spin to heat it up a bit.Bought the 12mm allen key for €3 locally and undid the filler plug first as advised.?
Then drained of 1.5 lit of what i would call mud ?
Bought 2lits of 75/90 and managed to pump that in as the car was up on ramps.
So i think all went well !!!

I thought I'd get the gearbox oil changed in my B. I'd bought some allen key sockets for when I did the brakes last year so I thought it'd be a doozy. The filler plug was stiff but yielded. Then I couldn't find the drain plug! I'm looking for it on the bottom of the gearbox but just can't see anything that would take a 12mm allen key. I found the hole in the attached picture but that doesn't take an allen key. I also found another plus on the side of the gearbox slightly below the filler plug but I can't get to that as it's obscured by a piece of metal.

Can anyone help?

Thanks Dave, I'd seen that tip on an old thread but it is well to be repeated as I had some trouble getting my filler plug to move. I did get the job done yesterday, and since about 2 litres of muddy colured fluid came out and most of two one litre bottles went in I'm hopeful that I got the right holes! I might nip back and take some pictures for the record, the drain plug I used was where Voko indicated behind the left front wheel.
Thanks to all for their assistance, gear changes are a little smoother now and yesterday was a great day for a drive along the country roads round here.

As promised, I took some pictures of where the plugs are that I used to change my gearbox oil, I think they were the correct ones. I didn't remove the front-wheel when I changed the oil but took it off for the photo so that it is clearer where the drain plug is. As noted above, definitely check that you can get the filler plug off before draining the oil.

I found that my oil tray wouldn't quite fit under the gear box so I used a plastic container that once contained 'Heroes' chocolates which was big enough to take the two litres of oil that came out. However, for anyone reading this in ten years time, I'd check that your container will take two litres as the things seem to get smaller every year.

As others suggested, to fill the gearbox up I used a funnel and about 75cm of garden hose which I fed in from by the battery.

What's the blue stuff all over the gearbox?

Interesting question. It could be an interaction between the LED light from my inspection torch, the flash from my camera and, possibly, the oxidation on the gearbox. If I take the picture with just the camera flash it disappears.
