I am waiting on a costing for the stripes so I will be in a position to offer them in any colour etc. I will go down to the car right now and take the number plate pics, uploaded in about 5 mins:D

Good man - as for the stripes I will be going with Black (following the Red/Black theme for the car)............

The plate size is 38cm X 7.25cm with motorbike plate sized lettering, stuck straight to the bumper with 3M pads. Much better than the big carbuncle I bought it with:)

Stripes actually look quite good, a little touch of the 70s and they work very well with the yellow.

Thanks SS, I guess I had better order some up and get them on before I get stopped...........

Had one of those 'doh' moments last night driving up the M1 to pick up my wheels. There are miles of roadworks with a speed limit of 50 mph and average speed cameras all the way along the roadworks. Despite the fact that there was very little traffic on the road I was a considerate road user and kept to the 50mph limit as I didn't want a £60 wonder through the post. It wasn't until I arrived home I realised I could have got away with a slightly faster pace as the average speed cameras read the front number plate NOT the rear!!!!

The stripes are VERY GT40, I really think they will suit the solid colour B's and cover up the nasty panel joint on the rear wing...........

Can't wait for SS to get me a set

An update on my amp/speaker insallation. I have just ordered an Infinity reference 6010cs speaker component kit so it should arrive early next week. Went for the infinity speakers after the recommendation!! Ordering a wiring kit with what else but yellow wiring for the battery/amp connection!
I intend to place the speakers as a direct replacement for the Fiat ones but if they turn out to be larger then I will cut out the black plastic grille that is in place at the moment, I'm sure that the new ones would look better anyway!

You won't be disappointed....... (y)

First time I fitted Infinity speakers were after my old Pioneer's were stolen from the parcel shelf of my BMW 3 series about 12 years ago. I was looking at replacing them with new Pioneer's, the guy from the ICE company that the insurers appointed said that I didn't have to go 'like-for-like' and that if it were his money he would go down the route of Infinities - glad I did!! :slayer:

Whenever I upgrade a car ICE system I always go for Infinities, IMHO they are the best you can get without spending silly money.........you will notice the difference!!

Now, about that body stripe...............;)

Just so you are all aware, I am able to offer the Barchetta stripes at £44.99 including P &P in any colour:)
They are made from very durable vinyl, mine are a gloss black. Of course, any name can be added, it does not have to be Barchetta:D
I intend to post this in the classified also.

I am up for a set but am going to have to leave it until I either make progress on the hall or next wage packet...........line me a set of gloss black ones up!

Also, is it possible to get the 'cut-outs' from the Barchetta wording? Just a thought.............

No problem just let me know when you want them as for the cut-outs, you would only end up with a couple of blobs!!

Dunno if you've decided where to put the guage's but you can buy tripple mountings that fit into single DIN adapter if there is space in the dash anywhere?

Don't have a clue what the B's dash's look like tbh

P.s Add me to the list of people with tool envy

Spent a sizeable chunk of my life today polishing the B with Auto Glym super resin polish and cleaning/polishing the interior. I then took a few new pictures to highlight the stripes and the polish:D
