Given the current recession, sooner or later the Pound will have to devaluate...
Or the UK has to finally switch to Euro's

In any case, believe it or not, the cheapest B's can only be found in the UK... i think that the attitude towards second hand cars is a bit different on the continent. Blighty seems to have a market for second hand cars with "only seven" previous owners, whereas on most of the continent 2 previous owners seems to be the maximum to be trusted.
This leads to quite a different secondhand market.

Anyways, that is my impression at least.

Have to admitt unless the car looks mint and OK after a full inspection I would never go for a multi owner car....2-3 OK, after that it would as said need to be in very good shape.

Me too, and always spend a lot of time checking it over - I actually took the wheels off and jacked the b up when I was looking to buy, plus I paid for a full HPI check................

Depends on what car you are buying as well, TVR's, Lotus, Fezza's etc all tend to have a higher than usual number of owners as they are hobby cars.......
