If you look just to the left of where the oil filter is theres two blanking bolts (allen key head) which where originally for the oil cooler upgrade from fiat. You could get a sender with the right thread and screw it straight in there and maybe a oil temp in the other.

DanGil thats great info !! I will have a look tonight and see whats what.

I would like to put an oil sender for pressure and temp as I will start work on upping the BHP this year and getting more detailed info out of the engine is a must.

Funny you should say that. I have tried a few times and something is wrong with my signature. If I change a single letter it tells me I have gone over the line limit. The only way to update it is to remove it all and start again and then I can only put in a few lines of info. :confused:
 
old thread but...

does anybody know what sandwich will fit to barch? i have plan to put oil pressure and temp gauge, so i found this adapter where you bolt on pressure sender and temp sender.

this goes between engine and oil filter

Don't use those sandwitch plates as they tend to leak.
Like previously said use the two bolts on the oil cooler to connect them to.

I have mounted an oil temp the same way, it works perfect and best of all it doesn't leak:D
 
thanks for info... which way you lead wires into the interior to gauge? do you have some pics?
 
i'll try to make pics, but its non stop raining here(n)

Try to get the cable to the left and then you can lead it unnoticable untill you reach the rubbers on the left. Just go under to above all round till you reach the rubbers where all cables are going though to the cabin.

Its a struggle in the small B to work under the steering wheel:idea: Watch youself for spiders:D I have
