Has anybody bought anything similar to this? I'm a little apprehensive to buying them as they're sold flat - and I'd need to bend them myself. So, what I'm wondering is if it's hard - bending it, I mean :D.

A little harsh perhaps! I think the slipping problem is the issue here, if you like the look then try and find somewhere to buy them where you can actully try them out. I believe there are some which do offer sufficient grip.

In terms of taste, I don't think they fit the Barchetta, unless you've chrmoed up the inside with other parts too.

That's what I meant, fine an a 4 X 4 but not in a B:yuck:
You can buy plastic/vinyl ones that give the same checkerplate effect but they are double yuck!

I like aluminium, brushed steel, etc. ... . I've just started blinging my B with brushed steel around the speedo (y). Hopefully more to follow :)

I didn't really think about the slipperiness; my brother's got an XR3i with alu mats in - and although I haven't driven it for years - I can't remember them being slippery. I should test it again one of these days.

I've got 5-6 pairs of Pumas - do they count as racing boots? :p

Chav  Wossat?

Type chav into google rather than me trying to explain and insulting somebody:D
You a Puma fan too?? My my, how much we have in common!!

Aiiit. Found it. Respec' :D

Yup, we must have been separated at birth. And by 14 or so years :)

:D
Took the B out for a drive in the beautiful sunshine here today, parked up on Holmfirth Moss to eat me chips and they went cold after answering all the questions about my B from the admirers:)

Bit of a red herring, super? ;)

As long as it metallic, I like it, custard :)

I went ahead ahead and ordered the mats today. Apparantly I'm a chav :yum: Aiiit.
Sadly I didn't check the the p&p before I confirmed the order...€37... Well done, me :nutter:
