The operations are:
1. Remove the old lever from the car.

- open the driver's door :)
- remove the two screws holding the lever onto the car
- remove the cable head from the lever. Pay attention, there are two small plastic clips holding the cable's head into place. You may need some help to do it easily. Also, I advise you to open the trunk and keep the locking mechanism into open position using what you can fit there (a piece of wood? Beware not to scratch your car! Use lightweight materials!)
- you should have separated the lever mechanism from the car. Stop, drink a beer. Congratulations!

2. Dissasemble the lever

- you should see this

Press on the highlighted axis with a nail, a screwdriver or whatever works. Press on the LEFT side of the axle, AS SHOWN!
- once the axis is out completely, you can remove the lever by pulling it as you would open the boot and then pull it outwards.
- you should see (almost) this

Remove the safety wire numbered with 1 found in the place shown by the arrow.

- pull out the lock. You can use a screwdriver or, for the one with the correct key, use the key itself to drag it out. Push the key in, rotate 90 degrees and pull.

3. Putting it back

- do the operations in reverse. Take good care that the lock has in the opposite part that the key opening a pin that is not in the center. That pin must fit this opening. Help yourself from here

That should be it!
