Lancia Y10 Turbo

These are getting quite rare now. Had a cracking rear omega beam suspension system on it. This needs a good home to go to and would make a cracking car especially for shows.

Andy.:)

Will it ever see the light of day again though??

Fighting a loosing battle there mate, i've been trying to get him to fix it up now for years and he keeps spending money on stuff like Oh-No Will-it-go (Uno Turbo) and lots of Cinqs!

Its a great little car as well, and was running last time I saw it, even though it had sat for months, reconnected the battery and it sparked into life :)

As far as i know, theres something up with the carbs but not sure. I am hankering after a project atm and would be tempted to take it off his hands but really want something thats gonna be a bit faster when done. Although saying that i don't know how fast these are. And i know naff all about them, do they share an engine with any other car (bar the turbo obviously)?? I'm thinking parts would be a nightmare to find..

The engine is 1050cc turbo, easily good enough for 150bhp, in fact there was a very long thread on here a while back from a guy who had one and was running 13sec 1/4's in it back in 2000 or even earlier.

Parts are available through Fiat, though some will be NLA

this is as good a place as any to start reading about them http://www.y10turbo.co.uk/default.asp

may even see Trevor's Y10 with 2L 8V Turbo 4WD conversion from an 8V integrale on there as I think just about every Y10 in the UK has passed through his hands at some point.

I know Keith at Auto Integrale has experience of them, kept telling Jamie to give him a call about setting his up as its only a carb problem.
