I remember the show. I also remember the private owner who won it so I know he wasn't a dealer, he put it on e-by at 200 miles. I believe the current owner is the 3rd owner, that's gotta ring some alarm bells.

This must be No.1 Schumacher then? Like you said this was given away on Fifth Gear.

Dealers did register these cars, our dealership registered about 4 or 5.

I thought he signed bodywork but i did miss that episode of Fifth Gear.

Trust the German to graffiti the dashboard, a certificate would have done with a signed photo.

Yes but when dealers take cars in they hold off re-registering it in their name so as to keep the number of keepers down.

Dealers pre reg cars as we get support from fiat. we registered 12 of them as pre reg's... the difference between paying 18000 or 12000... you are the second registered owner. like myself. Its complicated but if a dealer has stock for some time they pre reg them and get all sorts of tax benefits etc...

I suspect that the only reason they're selling so soon is because they think they'll get some ridiculous price for it!! will be interesting to follow it...

Yep, thats understandable, what I meant earlier is that when the dealer took it in from the original owner they would have held off re-registering it in their name as the second owner. I bought mine of JCS a dealer in Kegworth but the car was still registered to Fiat UK if that makes sense. Looks like each of these owners has tried to make a fast buck as you suggest. Gotta be worth 10K at least.

This cars been all over the place,

Was for sale at a Fiat dealer in Guildford for a while, at the time had down 700 miles, went to have a look and to be honest I could not believe the condition it was in and how badly they were treating it, in fact seeing this one almost put my dad of buying a Schumi Stilo, Lots of scratches in and out, bumpers had dodgy paint and for some reason it sounded really rough. The whole car just looked really naff.

Quite funny the wideboy salesmen (who was using it as his runabout) came out with some classic lines about the engine being more tweeked than the abarth 'yeah its got more torque mate' etc, could'nt be bothered to argue his rubbish to be honest.

Apparently the winner px'd for a Alfa 156.

I understand what you are saying Bozzy. The Log books now have a section on them for what you are saying just for traders, so as not to add anymore keepers.

55stilo is correct to but i did not realise we registered that many.

Someone mentioned earlier maybe Fifth Gear could have been a keeper or even Fiat UK?

The keepers would not bother me as a vehicle check will clarify all this. I'd want to know if it definately was the car on the show.

:) Bozzy do you think they should bring out a yellow Jordan F1 version:)

PT03HGT is still learning english be patient with him. He is a true italian fiat owner. Has temperment to prove it. Toys out the pram and everything.:D
