wayne.
please paint your cam covers.they look bloody awful.otherwise,lovely.btw,is it the photo or are the wheels a bit small?:)

Yes,on twin 45 side draft webbers with a 4 branch exhaust manifold onto a stainless single backbox pipe. No cat converters on these babies!

Supposed to have some fancy cams in it but it feels like a standard cam set up to me(loadsa bottom end grunt but runs outta steam at 6000rpm)
Havent had the carbs set up since i got it through the test so that might be something to do with it not performing like it should. It went straight through the emissions test,so they cant be set up right!

Eventually gunna get a complete new bodykit for it with the proper front and back panels and maybe go for the wider montecarlo tarmac arches for some mega wide offset wheels.

Hi Sumpy,

The cam covers are gunna get done dont worry about that.Needs a lot of things doing to it but i've been concentrating on other 2 wheeled projects for the last few months.Gunna start on the car when i've finnished them off.Yes the wheels are small 13 inches. They're getting changed eventually as well.

Wow! 131 Abarth replica - Sex on four wheels :yum:

Wheels are correct size for vintage - 13" was the standard size back in the 80's ;)

As for cam covers, they should be made of alloy so can be polished to a mirror finish (y)

Bet it sounds great when you put your foot down. They certainly don't make them like that any more.

Only problem with the 131/ Mirafiori was that they rusted so badly :( What's your secret for keeping the tin worm at bay? Would like to apply that knowledge to my little Uno :)
