Hi all

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but can't seem to find anywhere else appropriate on the mobile app.

I have various items for sale since upgrading my car from a punto to a 208. They are listed below. Pictures can be sent (can't find a way to include the pics here). I will also consider any reasonable offers, especially for the lot.

Please message me if you would like to purchase any/all items or have any questions.

1. Brand new, never been opened, still sealed dayco timing (cam) belt. Bought for fiat punto, which unfortunately got wrote off before I could change it. Paid over £27 for it but can't take back as out of time.

As you can see for the pictures, this hasn't even been opened and is still sealed. Wanting £25 ovno

2. Hi
I have a complete Pioneer deh-1600UB car stereo for a sale. The fascia, when lit up, is red, and is also removable. It has an aux port, USB port and a CD player. Awesome sound quality and used for less than one year. Also comes with another fascia, that is removable, and lights up green. This is from the deh-1320mp (the rest of the stereo was destroyed when the car it was installed in set itself on fire....puntos eh? Haha). This fascia is pretty much exactly the same as the 1600 but minus the usb port. Although the fascia is from a different model, I used it on the 1600 stereo and it worked.

Both are in perfect working order. Only selling due to upgrading my car and no longer have any use for them.

Atm, each of these still retail at £80 for the 1600 and £50 for the 1320; wanting £60 for both ovno. So come and grab yourself a bargain :) I still have the manuals and boxes for these and both are in pristine condition

Both fascias have some superficial scratches but nothing major. Both fascias come with their own Pioneer cases for safe keeping.

3. I have a complete set (4) of powered by fairydust wheel trims. Mainly black in colour with a bit of pink. 3 are in perfect condition and intact, 1 has the metal rim around the trim missing (doesn't affect the trim at all but you may want to use a tie wrap for extra security, as you would be recommended for all of them).

4. I have a cyclone car alarm system for sale. This had been fitted to a previous car but ALL of the parts are still there. This alarm worked perfectly whilst fitted and was better than many after market alarms. Selling as car that it was on got wrote off (in an accident) and I've now upgraded my car. This is a bargain at £10. For full features please Google cyclone car alarm, gives you a lot of information about the alarm.

Thanks :)

Aw that's a shame.

The timing belt kit was bought for a 1.2, 2002 8v punto...not sure if it would fit another model

Thanks
Chrissy :)

Very cheeky, puntofan01 haha. If you had the terrible experience with puntos that I've had, you'd understand why it's an upgrade lol.

I don't want to jinx anything but so far Peugeot is so much better than fiat...plus cos I got it from a dealership rather than private seller I have all sorts of warranties and deal with it...so no extra pennies to spend lol. But I do kinda miss my punto :-(

In all fairness, you might have just been unlucky with the Puntos you've had, especially if they were getting on a bit when you bought them. I'm on my 2nd, and intend to replace it with another when the time comes, lol! ;)

With regards to the warranty, simple: buy a lovely new Punto from a dealership, lol! ;)

I had been very unlucky...first car got wrote off in an accident, 2nd set itself on fire one morning and 3rd (and final) had summat new wrong with it every day. Was costing me more to run it than it was worth.

Kinda got bored of the puntos after the third one...the 208 has loads of fancy gadgets, touch screen, cruise control, etc....I love it lol

That really is unlucky! I know what you mean about the gadgets: my old mk2b was a base model Active, which had central locking and electric windows and that was pretty much it, lol! I went straight from that to the top model Grande Punto Eleganza i have now, and found meself with all these toys like parking sensors and dual zone climate etc. It took a bit of getting used to, lol!
