FOR SALE IS MY 1991 FIAT PANDA 4X4 SISLEY. I HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS AND JUST HAD IT MOT'D THIS WEEK. IT HAS ALL ITS ORIGINAL FEATURES IN WORKING ORDER. THE 4X4 SYSTEM WORKS PERFECTLY ALTHOUGH THE WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASH DOESN'T COME ON. ORIGINAL WHEELS HAVE BEEN POWDER COATED AND HAVE THE ORIGINAL CENTRE CAPS. THE SEATS AND TRIM ARE ALL GOOD, NO RIPS OR TARES. ORIGINAL GRUNDIG RADIO CASSETTE AND HAND BOOK. SOME HISTORY AND ALL OF THE OLD MOT'S. THE BODY IS GENERALLY GOOD BUT WOULD BENEFIT FROM A RESPRAY. DRIVERS DOOR IS POOR AND THERE IS SOME HISTORICAL DAMAGE TO THE OFFSITE UPPER REAR PANEL. CURRENTLY SORN BUT READY TO DRIVE AWAY IF YOU TAX IT.I HAVE LOTS OF SPARES INCLUDING DOORS, TAILGATE, BRAND NEW BUMPERS AND VARIOUS SUSPENSION PARTS. THE BUYER OF THE CAR WILL BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THESE PARTS SHOULD THEY WANT TO.

TO SUM UP A GREAT BASIS FOR A RUNNING RESTORATION PROJECT OR JUST USE IT AS A DAILY DRIVER.

VIEWING IS WELCOME WHILE THE AUCTION IS RUNNING.

edit: can someone please edit the title as the reg is J277 LRY no L277 LRY

Looks great. Bet it goes for a pretty penny! Just don't have the cash at the moment. Just dreams (n)

Knew I'd seen that one with the really nasty C pillar before. The bleeping search would not find it (even though the reg was there) & I had to go back 2 years and work forwards!! :bang:

Sadly no pics were posted into the original thread - or this one come to that (much better when Freebo sticks all the pics in his auction watch links!). (y)

"....WOULD BENEFIT FROM A RESPRAY. DRIVERS DOOR IS POOR AND THERE IS SOME HISTORICAL DAMAGE TO THE OFFSITE UPPER REAR PANEL..."

this definately will not attract more then £1.5k

You needed to go back in time to beat my link! :p

Oops, there was no reply once I startrd the post but I got sidetracked for a bit and then you posted (y) Must admit though after many times looking through old auction watch posts for ages, this time I put the reg number and panda Sisley into Google and got it within about 30 seconds

To get a breeding pair? Ask a silly question...... :D

I'm afraid my breeding programme has so far been a complete failure :(

Sky, Fizzle, Jacko, Alessi and James have all so far failed to become in cub.

It could be however due to the fact that they are all boys ( though I had my doubts about Alessi ).

Maybe the trekking can concieve (not sure what gender yet)?

Guess whos back!

dylreb"] This 1991 Fiat Panda Sisley is beautiful. It has had a complete top to bottom body restoration in 2016 with NEW doors,Bumpers, side plastics,Tyres,Suspension.
It has covered80,000 miles and comes with just about every accessory possible,Front Bull bar with spots,Tow bar,Roof rack with skis and ski clamps,front/rear light guards, rear dog guard,3rd brake light.
Immobiliser has been fitted along with a complete new barrel set doors and ignition with 4 keys.
This is a real show stopper and gets admired everywhere it goes.
Everything works perfectly including the 4x4 system.
There is not a spot of rust on this car,the underneath has been professionally wax oiled.
You will struggle to find a nicer condition Panda Sisley as this and are becoming increasingly rarer by the day.
I have many spares to go with the car too many to list here.Feel free to come and drive and view this great little car.

Wonder what happened to that nasty rear quarter damage? I think I'd want the Sisley mud flaps for that money! ;)

Just to set the record straight for everyone who is wondering what happened to this and that on Larry the Panda.

The vehicle was completely stripped down, windows, lights, bumpers, everything.
It was then sent to a Ferrari approved bodyshop and every single piece of rust was removed. There was not much rust and I had 2 new doors fitted, The cost of this ran into thousands of pounds.
The rear quarter that had a bad previous repair was all sorted professionally and I have all the photos of the work carried out as it went along.
So all I want to say to everyone who is being so negative about the car is I spent lots of time and money and effort restoring this Panda to keep it from going to the scrappy so please try and say things a little more positive rather than running it down.
If you had spent as much time and money as me on a Panda you would also feel irritated when no one on the forum has had one decent thing to say about it.
So in a nice way chaps if you can't say anything positive about keeping another Panda on the road then please don't say anything.
We are all meant to be enthusiasts on the forum not critics.
Oh and by the way there is a full set of wide mudflats in the boot that haven't been put on yet.
and the last MOT you will see went through with NO advisories.
Cheers guys have a good evening.

I don't think anyone has been negative following your restoration. This thread is very old dating back to when it first came on our radar. Sounds like you've done lots of good work and hope you get what you want for it [emoji106]

Glad the damage has been sorted properly - the listing doesn't say & it was only a question - not unreasonable when someone wants £3k more than the usual top money for a Sisley. Most of these things are covered up by dodgy sellers - the listing doesn't mention it & no one knew it was anyone on the Forum (as it hadn't been offered here to the enthusiasts).

The flaps were tongue in cheek as denoted by ;) (stop being so sensitive - anyone else would realise that if that's the worst we could see it's not exactly bad!) but if you have them it should be on the listing surely - an enthusiast will expect them (the correct Sisley ones are very hard to find if missing) at that sort of money.

Anyway glwts - I think the listing needs a lot more information, but that's just me.

well done on getting all that work done to it. The reason we have these threads is so that we have as much information as possible about the pandas that come up for sale :)

as you said we are all enthusiasts and we want whoever buys the car (as they will probably be on the fiatforum before or after they purchase it) to have as much information as is possible on their car to help with restoration, running and maintenance.

I have had 3 pandas and there is a glut of threads and information on all 3 of them, I have referenced them myself. only last night I was able to give the owner of a car I used to own his paint code when he was away from his car as I had all the information set aside :)

I do get why you feel that way, but in all honesty no harm or ill will was intended.

GLWS it looks like a beautiful example, I remember it coming up for sale years ago and lusting after it. probably on this thread now that I think about it!
