Thank you very much. I'm hoping I may be sorted now with some second hand ones.

Appreciate the links though.

The new ones from India weren't any good..?
Hi Peter
I decided not to go for the India ones as I still wasn't 100% sure they would be any different to what I have now. Particularly as the seller told me they are for a lhd vehicle. I totally understand your reasoning behind the driving on the left in India but I just didn't want to take the chance that they might the same as mine.
I don't want to get reflectors as I agree they wont look nice so I'm hoping to obtain some second hand rhd ones.
The MOT went well, failed on the headlamps which I knew it would, a few bulbs were out, which I've fixed today, and a track rod end needs doing. So I'm very pleased.
She seems to be getting lots of positive attention which is nice.

Hi
Just an update. After obtaining a nice pair of rhd headlamps from a forum member I finally got my MOT for the Fiorino!

I do however need some further advice with regards to registration.
At the moment, after some investigating, I am unable to find out the exact date when the pickup was registered.

I do know that it was made in Brazil and then imported to Italy. I have contacted Fiat who then contacted Italy who say they have no record of it over there but it does show on the Italian logbook that it was registered there in 1997. Fiat then tried to find out if they have a contact in Brazil but they don't.

What I'm worried about if I send off the MOT and logbook to the DVLA without a proper registration date then I will end up with a Q plated car which I don't want.

I feel like holding off from registering until I can somehow get the appropriate information.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

Thanks

I contacted Fiat in the UK who have been trying to get details for me but no luck. I gave them the chassis number but no record here or Italy and they tell me they have no contact in Brazil who they can refer it too. Don't know what to do next.

Hi
Just a quick question to those in the know!

My registration letter has been passed to the UK representative to produce.

Does anyone know the exact model that should be written on the V5 for this? I don't want to get it wrong!

Should it be Fiat 127 Fiorino Pickup or just Fiat Fiorino Pickup?

Many thanks

In the car scene, the Fiorino Pick-Up Mk1 is refered as the "127" version, while the Fiorino Pick-Up Mk2 is called the "Uno" version.
Neither if this is written on the official registration papers I have seen sofar.
Just "Fiorino Pick Up", no matter what version.

Thank you Peter. Fiat Fiorino Pickup she shall be! :)
Shouldn't be long now until I get all the necessary paperwork ready for sending off.
I'm curious to know what the new registration number will be :)

Unfortunately I'm still waiting for the DVLA to send me the appropriate import registration forms.
They don't seem to be available to download online unless I've missed them!
I guess I'll just have to wait until they eventually arrive in the post.
