No room at the inn! To be honest I can see that's way too much work for me - there's no description of the underneath, cills, rear wheel arches, rear shock mounting points, front suspension turrets, or the windscreen surround. Any of those could mean serious work. There's unlikely to be anything wrong mechanically, but you can never 100% tell until it's been checked and started.

It's been off the road since 2007. In one way that's not too long, but plenty of time for brakes, exhaust, etc to need attention. As it was worth some money 7 years ago I'd want to find out what put it off the road - rust maybe?

No, you buy it, get it restored, then I'll make you an offer....... ;)

You need a bigger inn then!

Looking at the pictures it looks as if it's been stored in a swamp, never seen a car go so rusty in an engine bay!

It is - crusty bits aside - a lovely looking car.

I'll wait for a minter with an MOT I think ;)

You'd be better off with:

http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C420401

Cost you less than putting the other back on the road, as you'd have to pay someone to do the work. (y)

I've ignored the bit about the inn! :p

Now I don't mind travelling aways to collect a car but I've never had to leave the country!

I did see this one, definately would give my car polishing skills a work out!

I'm looking for an inn with room for 7 cars and not having much luck :(

It's only in NI! The pictures look different (less faded) on my computer - I'm not sure if it's the sunlight making it looked washed out, or if it's faded?

That's always an issue - I've had to buy lockups for the overspill........
