He hasn't put a price, apparently its got no engine or box, but he said other than some slight rust round the front & rear screens its solid:

Yeah, it would make sense. Personally I always wanted to put a 1300 BMW bike engine into one.

I think there was a Dutch guy who put a 3-cylinder Aigo engine in one a couple of years ago? Not sure if he managed to get round the final electrical glitches though?

Or, it would work as an electric town car, you could probably get away with two 2000w motors from a couple of electric scooters in something that lightweight..
 
Many moons ago, Hot Car magazine did an article on fitting a VW Beetle engine into a 500. I have seen a Reliant engined 500. I moved the radiator on my own 126 Bis from the back to the front with the intention of fitting a larger water cooled engine but never got round to it. A bike engine seems to be the way to go nowadays, though I still prefer the V8's fitted into the 126 and 500 of the two brothers that used to drag race at Santa Pod. Can't remember their names though.
