I thought this might be of some interest.
As per title, there is a nice little Seat Terra for sale on Gumtree.
Unfortunately Gumtree don`t like posting they links on forums, so I won`t do that.
We actually owned this car couple of years ago. It is very low mileage and back then we purchased it from the first owners.
If we haven`t bought a van couple of weeks ago, I would have bought this back without hesitation.

I put a Gumtree link on another forum before and it was removed. Apparently something to do with GT policy, so not sure.

i reckon the other forum made that up, links to them are like a free ad for them i cant see them not wanting them.

I want to buy this, but the seller doesn't respond. I've been looking for a Terra camper like this (petrol, pre summer 92, not knackered) for a bit and if I don't get one soon, I won't be going on honeymoon in July. Not even joking.

The advert says "txt only" - meaning sending a text message only? How does that work for buying a car?

Does the OP have any advice on what to look out for when I view it? Can't work out what the rear setup is like - seats with belts? Two bench seats that make into a bed?

After doing Panda Camp when i've firstt seen this on. I had really bad idea, 4x4 it+ NATO green. But Lewey has booked it first- good luck with it.

This one has rear hammock style seats. It wasn`t a camper conversion. The curtains must be a recent addition as it didn`t have them when we sold it.
It is also a 5 speed which must be pretty rare on a 903cc engine.
When we sold the Terra, it only had around 20k on the clock. Shame I can`t find the old pictures of it on my computer.

Thanks for that. Seller still doesn't respond. Phone goes in and out of reception, but they don't answer voice or text message. So frustrating. What's the point of an advert you don't want to people to respond to?!

Seller responded at last. Texts only. Has had a bump in the driver door/sill; not mentioned in ad of course. You can see it in photo if you look carefully. Makes price about right I suppose. Anyway, I am collecting it tomorrow night. 3 hour train journey and insurance bought. I am committing!

Before I forget, look carefully at the photos. The front end looks like Mk2 Panda. Can anyone explain this to me, other than someone converted it? Or perhaps I don't know Marbella/Terra UK models as well as I thought?

Your rear axle is wider than a car one, the rear springs are unique to the Terra and you are more than 10" longer than the 'others'.
