Seller responded at last. Texts only. Has had a bump in the driver door/sill; not mentioned in ad of course. You can see it in photo if you look carefully. Makes price about right I suppose. Anyway, I am collecting it tomorrow night. 3 hour train journey and insurance bought. I am committing!

Before I forget, look carefully at the photos. The front end looks like Mk2 Panda. Can anyone explain this to me, other than someone converted it? Or perhaps I don't know Marbella/Terra UK models as well as I thought?

Odd. The vent on the bonnet is right but it doesn't seem to have the right front for a terra/marbella bonnet unless it's been pained black and is hard to see? The grille looks right (there were two variants) but those lights look more like they belong to a Panda than a Terra...

Congratulations by the way!

Well done Lewey. I hope it all works out for you with the Terra.

The front has some vinyl on it to make it look more Panda like. I even bought a mk1 front grille for it and headlamps, as the plan was to make it in to a Fiat service van. Unfortunately I had to sell it.

I found one picture of it. It had them 127 alloys on it when we sold it. Shame they not on the car any longer as it did look pretty good with them on.

And yes those extra 10 inches really do make a difference.

Wow the 127 looks really good with Panda alloys on! (y) Those are the original Panda/Uno option alloys - hmm maybe I should try mine on the 127.....

Have you still got the 127 & is it on the road? I guess it's a 1050cl with a Sport grille & mk3 seats?

Not many 127's left so excuse me ignoring the Terra! ;)

Palio that mk2 had a Sport cylinder head and carb on it and a complete Sport interior, but you are right it had mk3 seats fitted at the time the photo was taken. I think it lives in London-Brokley now.
I was always wondering about them alloys. They came with a GT we had.

That mk1 127 recently was ours too. It`s now in Somereset. It did need a fair bit of work. If it was expensive? I don`t think so. Mk1s seem to be thin on the ground and good ones fetch a lot of money.

Ah ok - glad to hear it's still around anyway. (y) Generally mk1's don't fetch as much as a mk2 and top out at about £2k for a really mint one - I hope you got a good price for it - no offence intended, but there was much too much work for me at the price it was advertised at, bearing in mind the potential value was all I meant. (y)

No offence taken. It`s a personal opinion/choice, but in my mind a mk1 is more valuable and that would be the one I go for every time. Unless the mk2 was a nice Sport of course:)

Fair enough - I'd prefer the mk2 which is definitely a personal choice. The values are based on sale prices and official Club insurance valuations though, so it's not only me. Sadly none of them are worth a huge amount, but the mk3 is the real bargain if you like plastic! (y)
