Guys if that's the correct reg that's a car I owned and it wasn't that colour grey when I had it, it was darker and it was the original paint. Photo below after I sold to my mate in England.
The font on the plates is in deed illegal but it is an NI plate.

It actually would be nice to have it again "hmmm"

Oh and thanks onemanmade I put those plates on :D

No bother, I never thought of it being a Norn Iron plate, really should have known as I am marrying into a Northern Irish family and have visited several times. In my defence though I have been doing overtime every night this week and I am knackered (n)

I am out on this one, logistics and finances :( I cant view that photo though, have you got anymore out of interest?

Ok, now that I've got into work and see the photo's better it does look to be the same colour as when I had it.

Jamie are you definitely buying it? if not I'd seriously consider it so would appreciate a heads up as I would have to make arrangements.

I met with a friend who owns a garage last night and were thinking of going in together to get it. Not 100% at the moment as I can't get hold of the seller and would like to have a look under it first in an ideal world. But yes I'm very interested, but don't want to be under pressure to say yes or no just yet. There could though be lots of people interested who might outbid you or I anyway. The joy of auctions I guess

It's not an auction in my eyes....go down with cash and make an offer there and then. I've done this on all my eBay pandas. Let me know when your going and we could meet up as its so close to me.

Never done this before but probably a good idea I suppose. Only problem is finding him! It's jumped from £250 up to £500 now from the same bidder, someone's putting a marker down and showing there hand early

Makes no difference... Cash is king.

I have found 95% of people have no time for eBay, and the messers that bid, and use the ads as a shop window.

Hope you get to contact him.

Ok Stuart, I'm officially out on this one. We've decided to sell up and move out of town so I can't have any potential projects around that can't move under there own steam. Good luck if you go for it (y)

Hello there. I'm new to the forum but thought I would post as I won the Sisley on E bay. 360 mile round trip in my old G Wagen to pick it up and 11 hours. It has been added to my long list of project vehicles on my drive. Going to need a fair bit of welding and a total mechanical and cosmetic overhaul.

Matt.

Welcome to the forum. Would be good to see a project thread about it over in the members motors section. Any questions - feel free to ask.

Hi Matt,

Congratulations, and welcome to the Forum. (y)

I have a Sisley in this colour too, hope you can keep us all posted about your progress.

Welcome! Hope to see pics and progress soon!

Welcome to the fforum £510 looks like a fair price for Sisley project. That's wired but this Sisley seems to attract G wagens as Stuart does have one as well. Looking forward for some pics and general condition report.

Well I was a bit shocked to see how much time had passed since I bought the Sisley! About a year and a half, or, one car trailer axle replacement and refurb, one boxster brake refurb, one g wagon steering rebuild, one Suzuki SJ Diesel engine conversion, one ensuite installation and a bathroom replacement.
Now it's Panda time! I just need to get to grips with this forum now so I can post progress (Or lack of), moan about rust and hopefully get some useful contacts for parts.
Mainly though I will be moaning about rust. There is a frightening amount of rust...

Matt.

We all moan on some point.

I'm sure sisley is in good hands, You could start your members motor thread to keep thing clear. Feel free to send me your list of parts required ( if ready), i still have fair number of sisley/4x4 parts/decals left.

Welcome Matt. (Sorry, couldn't resist)
Good luck with the project.
We all understand rust here, and therefore you have our sympathy and support. Nice selection of vehicles in your fleet. I also own one of the early grey Sisleys and of our set of cars this one provides the most fun, for a range of reasons. I hope the same turns out to be true for you too.

Like kolza I have a few bits knocking about so shout out if you think we can help.
