It's all good just make the resulting space up with old bits of newspaper and filler - perfectly acceptable :D :p
You utter cowboy:nono: Everybody knows that to effect a permanent and structurally sound repair you should use a wire mesh and fibreglass mix under the filler. Have you never read the instructions on an Isopon packet!

That's just adding more weight! :D

I am a builder after all - I suppose the next suggestion should be expanding foam

the sound of a welder is the song of my people mate!

yeah working on cars, if you have to use a stick welder.. you need the smallest sticks you can get and the lowest amps.
my advice is, if you get the sisley cheap enough.. invest in a mig welder.

you will never look back and think "damn its so useless why the hell did i buy it".

you will however feel like you have the power to create anything.

secret to a good weld is to clean the metal you are welding first.. no paint or any other impurity.

a real lazy way to weld with a mig welder is to just rest the shroud (end of the welding gun) on the bit you want to weld, pull the trigger and slowly draw the gun back following the path you want to weld. you find better methods as you progress in your totally epic new method of creation by high amps and lots of sparks!

try not to get carried away... when welding it is easy to do as you get to a point where it becomes quite enjoyable.. almost therapeutic.

Now in Minehead; and with a different seller. Appears to be £495 BIN... -- possibly....

Excellent! Don't mind someone cleaning a car up and trying to make a small profit (y) better than a scrapie getting it. First seller should have spent a couple of hours on it and might have got more money. It's a shame it's not got the proper 4x4 wheels though
