Am I right in thinking this is as rare as a hen's tooth...?

It's in Germany; and not cheap, I'm afraid....

Sadly as rare as Panda oil puddles. Good try but these are the ones for injected 4x4's, which we didn't get :bang: The price would be fine if it was the right tank - the listing doesn't help - you have to look in the blurb to discover the problem.

If you find a supplier for non-injected 4x4 fuel tanks though, let me know first! Keep up the good work though - you'll stumble on them one day (y)

first spi pandas were sold in 1987 on some markets.

And about the fuel tank, I have a question, we know that 4x4 has 30 liters metal tank, and what about 4x2 metal tank for mk1 pandas with leafsprings? it is also 30 l tank? I ask, because I 've just finished reading seat marbella manual and they claim that marbella has 35 l tank. 35l like 4x2 mk1 panda, or marbellas have just a bit bigger one than 4x2 mk1?

Oh. it's cheap all right...

says ring for price... but just scoll down a bit...

Supposedly this is the carb 4x4 tank, ludicrously priced
Apparently they have them though...

On a plus note, the company is 2 miles from where I used to live in Thornton Heath, been into their offices in person, very good customer service from experience :)

That's the one I've been trying to make fit project Peterborough. It doesn't and will never bloody fit.

Easier and cheaper to fabricate one from scratch.
