I think this is of genuine interest to Fiat Abarth lovers. This must be one of the best examples anywhere and it is available for sale at the moment.

I am aware that I should not post links to external websites but can the moderator help me to allow it as I think it is of genuine interest to Fiat lovers?

Not trying to upset the rules of the forum but it is a very collectable car and a genuine classic Abarth. Alternatively search for it on Car and Classic website.

Can the moderator contact me if they agree this is of interest to people on this forum??

Many thanks

Edit: Car is being sold by a dealer in Cranborne, Wiltshire. You are in Warminster, Wiltshire. Are you the seller?

The same thing crossed my mind, first post and about a car for sale. :chin:

Still, it is posted in the wrong section and if the 500 mods give it the benefit of the doubt then it should be moved to the classic 500 forum where oopsadaisy can drool all over it. :D

Yes. We usually have about 25-30 cars in stock and we deal in classics and I don't make a habit of dropping by forums unless it is something relevent to your users. The car is special.

I just thought it was of genuine interest to the people on your forum.

I hope you understand.

If appropriate can I post the link?

Thanks

Link is already posted on an earlier link.
Out of curiosity what kind of price would you expect a concours example of this to go for ?

It actually belongs to the other partner from his personal collection so I would not like to say on his behalf. Best chat to him so I don't get in trouble! if anyone is interested phone 07968 005037

So it's ok to spam the forum when trying to sell his car but when someone asks the price you can't help?

Not displaying the price on the advert and not saying what the price is when someone asks is not the best way to sell something. I also think if you are a dealer you should pay when spamming the forum.

I am looking for a classic car to fill a space I now have no my garage but would never enquire about a car with no price.

As I said from the beginning not my intention to abuse the forum. I thought it would be on genuine interest as it is a stunning example and as I said earlier, it belongs to the other partner and is his personal collection. He has not listed a price and so I assume he wants to keep it P.O.A. so it is not for me to say because it is his personal car and yes we are dealers but by coincidence it belongs to him.

If there are genuine classic Abarth fans looking for something special, this is it. This is the first time I have visited any forum and considered it of genuine interest. If this forum is for people interested in fiats and this is a genuine classic, how can that possibly been seen as spam? This car has appeared in many magazines and I thought would be of interest to people here.

Just so everything is clear. I noticed the other partner had listed the Abarth in the list of stock we are selling. The Abarth is his personal car he owns. I then took the liberty of coming onto this forum as I thought it would be of genuine interest to Fiat enthusiasts. The other partner does not know I have put something on here yet. We see each other about once a week. I am due to see him in a few days and I can say it would be helpful to list a price. He may do that or he may decide to keep it POA. I will say to him people would like to know.I In the meantime if anyone is genuinely interested, the number is listed in this thread if you want to talk to him about it.

Well said RUI
This is just a dealer posting a link to an advert... Maybe by coincidence the Dealer realised they have more than the usual opportunity to sell the car by Maybe posting a very innocent link, that by coincidence would be a free advert. Maybe they would like to donate?
Maybe they could have posted in the correct forum?!
Maybe, who knows...... :D

I hope you guys feel ok about this post now. I always saw the point of a forum like this is for people who love these cars to connect with things they might be interested in.

I understand the web is uncontrolable and understand being defensive of people taking advantage.

I hope you guys see this as genuine now.
