I do actually quite like the car, looks in great condition to be fair, and as a daily driver it's probably great, but unfortunately the owner doesn't seem to realise that 'restoring' it so far from original has ruined it for the people that would pay that sort of money. As for advertising it as 'concours'......
6Ä would have bought a panda 45s tailgate badge....£12,000!!!!! Was it restored by Ronnie Biggs?

I just don't understand why you'd not update the V5 & Sorn it, assuming it's all legit. Actually I also don't understand why anyone thought those changes were a good idea, or how someone paid £12k for it to be done.

If it looks fishy, smells fishy, and swims around in circles on classic car websites......

It really could be a bargain for the work put in, but I guess I'll give someone else that opportunity.

I would be too suspicious, 12 grand would buy a far more professional restoration im sure.

Having worked in a car restoration business I know how much it costs, you could easily spend £12,000 on any car if you want it totally stripped, rust repaired and repainted all over including the inside and underneath and not do any of the work yourself, there is alot of work there. A shame this one was ruined at the very end by fitting the Marbella stuff, still it is not hard to change the bumpers, headlights and interior so presuming all the bodywork has been done right it would not be hard to make it a very nice proper MK1

Yep, Mk2 Panda ones would look better though. MK2 bumpers probably would aswell.

The hard work is done. Restoring the car to original spec' shouldn't be too hard. £1,000 for the car a couple of weekends work getting the right bumpers and grill from my Italian friend for a start. She has potential.
