I received no cable when I got mine but I took the kit out of it and wired my own standard mid-range speakers in just to act as rear sound. I can hear the music a bit better, especially with the top down. Adding an actual subwoofer would really finish it off.
Now the cable - Would it still be available with Fiat? I was looking for some bolts for it and it came up as a part. This was in 2009 - so not that long ago. Maybe Henk at http://www.barchettaparts.com could find one?
Hey Doc,
Glad to have you pop in. but we want you back !!!
I,m sure you must have built up some collection of spares and new mods.
Looks like I will be modifying the sub woofer and using just the back half rear section. Somehow I will make another half from wood/fibreglass and mold that around my chrome hoops.
I made subwoofer cable from the connector from the immobiliser ecu.
It's just the same. Then you'll need to rewire it, find scematics of it and solder it. But probabely easier if you buy it off fiat.
The bolts that are used to hold the subwoofer down are the same ones that hold the dashbord.
Yep still have a load of new bits all packed away in boxes for the day I get some free time. The last project I was working on was replacing all the wishbones and swing arms and detailing them red before fitting.
