Had a call from the guy and he walked around the car checking it out as I also got him to look where I suggested. Not perfect..but not too bad it seems. It has been sitting outside on a drive with the drivers side against a wall...this side has had a problem with the sill and the door as seen in the pics. The outer sill has been plated about half the length of the door. This repair will be noticed, so I will have a complete new one put on. I already have a mint drivers door. He was very honest and pointed out a couple small issues body wise...very small..i.e a 4mm bit of surface rust on the inside lip of bonnet.
So I think it's as we thought, but I won't know for sure till the weekend when I get it. Was told it had a service, 4 new tyres and a cv boot done...6000 miles and a cv boot gone?? Fingers crossed...again..

I thought it looked quite bad in the pic, but savable. Is there a problem with yours?
Drivers door is pretty rotten, passenger side is better but both are badly dented on the same place, here's a flavour
