18's are standard on a Prestigio. It's possible the previous owner got fed up of having their teeth rattled out. The 17's may have been a no-cost option when buying one.

It's a nice looking car though, for a good price. Perfect colour inside and out. If I had a "dream Croma" then this would be it. Shame about the auto box though but I'd put up with that, now I'm getting older.

My Prestigio has got 17" wheels and was a Fiat fleet demonstrator with 900mls on when I bought it. 18" wheels were an option as far as I can make out.
The car is a bargain and has more "extras" than mine:mad: the heated seats would be :D if i had them also leather.
By the way has anybody got the tyre pressure monitoring which was offerd as an extra and does it work?

my 55 plate mjet prestgio has the same 18's as the one in the picture, i have often wondered why they are different to others i have seen on prestigios.

They look like 17's to me - not enough metal, too much rubber for 18's. Could be wrong though. My 56-reg Prestigio has ten-spoke ones with a flat face, like Dave's.

Edit: I think you're right, Cricklewood. Perhaps they were an older style of 18".

Then someone needs to buy it - it looks like a good un to me.

Edit2: I can see the sensor for rain-sensing wipers there too (I think this includes an auto-dimming mirror).

Why do idiots on ebay put genuine buyers off with stroppy statements like this:

maybe because when you stick a car on ebay you get loads of people message or come and look at the car then offer you under half what you are selling it for, even if you have priced it right, they are normally all kerbside/layby dealers

Fair enough, but they could make the same point without sounding like an arrogant arse. I see this sort of bad attitude on ebay regularly, and they always get lower bids or none at all as a result. I've been selling on there for years and you do get problem buyers, but you need to give up when you start getting bitter about it.

It's a dealer. The car looks/sounds nice, is it one of us that has put a deposit on it? I'd be tempted, but only for the leather interior and roof rails. If the buyer is reading this I can offer you cash and a fitted velour cloth unmarked interior... will make it a reallly cheap car then ;-)
