Holy s**tbiscuits! Nice find, although at that price I am suspicious that it has some horrendous engine fault and it would blow up as soon you drove round the corner!

Looks like an Alfa Mito 155 engine to me. 
its only the starting price dont get too excited it may go up its an auction.

yep i heard that too from my friend who is an insurance broker
seems a con really they put the cats on, it was supposed to protect us from dangerous write offs, so we got cat a and b dangerous to repair and use and c and d to say they were safe to repair and use, dont seem right that they are allowed to not re insure some thing that has an ok to repair cat mark on it
Yep, if the damaged parts have been replaced then it is as safe as any car that has had repairs made to it.
The fact that the repairs were expensive shouldn't mean squat. Have a light front end bump and break all the plastics, lights, bonnet, radiator, aircon condensor etc and you're easily at a couple thousand for parts.
