Re: 16'' fiat 500 multispoke alloy wheels (used)

The sale of these wheels reminds me a little of what happens at some car auctions. When a 'dealer' is buying for himself he goes out to the 'viewing area' and as he's putting his hand up indicating his bid he has his other hand on the car to show to the other dealers that this car is mine.
Best of luck.

Sorry Chris - an 'encoded message'.

Do you plan to have a 'Buy now' option or are you going to let the auction run its course ?

No mate, highest bidder can take them, basically we had a used 500 but it was an ex demo with like low miles on it, customer wanted it but it had a couple of scuffed wheels therefore we replaced them for brand new!

They are just sat in our way so eBay was the way to go!

Not me!

Call me silly, but I think someone paid a bit too much for a wheel there!

Why pay 52.95 for a wheel with some kerbing when for 360 you can get 4 brand spanking new wheels, some discs, springs and a set of 4 brand spanking new tyres. That's how an auction for 4 Abarth wheels + discs and springs just ended.....

Nothing against you as I'm sure you understand Chris, you're a business and you're there to make as much profit as possible

Such a tight b**tard arent you

To be fair i suppose if you have one badly kerbed then its an ideal replacement, afterall they are 300 to buy new EACH!

But like anything, it'll sell for what the buyer thinks its worth!

Yup

I'm kicking myself for being outbid on a mint condition wheel with tyre for not a huge amount more!

Timing is everything. That wheel is always going to be worth more to someone who's just written theirs off in a pothole than it is to someone buying it as a 'just in case' spare.

Do what I do and get more cars, then you have somewhere to keep them. I've got 6 sets of wheels and only need space in the hut for 2 of them.

Space isn't the problem as such, it's the fact that we only have 2 cars and 5 sets of wheels and this displeases the boss
