imho its easier to make it rear wheel drive then fart about fitting it in the front and making custom drive shafts.
only thing you loose is the rear seats.but with a bike engine you wont be using it to take the family on holiday or drive to the shops.

and if you plan to use it for sprinting you would be in the same class as any other car like that (bike engine) and all of them will be rear wheel drive so you will be left in the dust... so... totally pointless/useless car :(

Jees, stop complaining about it being fwd! If you don'y like it, don't buy it.
Im not complaining. I (really) like it, I like anything with a bike engine in it, just prefer them done rear wheel drive :)

if you made it then well done,,, one of the best ive seen.

The rad (ic?) is somewhat curvy...

that would be because its a bike rad :)

criticism is healthy, if it never existed the world would not be as it is now, we would be sitting nacked in our own sh!t because there would be no one to say its wrong.

and its not like me or mariocinq where nasty about it...we just stated (a true fact) that it would be much better if it was rear wheel drive. and the effort hes gone to would be the same by doing it either way

He could make it 1000X better by getting another ZX9 engine and fitting it in the rear... twin bike engine 4X4 cinq (been done on minis before!)...

i'm with craig on this lol would have been alot better rear or even 4x4 in fatc a 4x4 would be alot better due to the fact the a bike engine is low on torque so 2x engines are always going to be better lol

Craig I think you might be wrong about how easy it is to do it fwd vs rwd. Rwd would require a lot more cutting about, body strengthening, etc, not to mention the IVA requirement for road legality. Also you have to add a fuel tank somewhere. And thats assuming you can get away with reusing the cento rear trailing arms which I'd be doubtful of.

Fwd its a dvla paperwork exercise and you have fuel lines, wiring, and a nice suitable space to put the engine.

You *might* need custom driveshafts, although I got round that on mine by turning a 6 speed punto gearbox diff into the chain diff. Unbolt crown wheel and bolt on sprocket. All it needed was an adaptor plate which any decent laser cutter can do very cheap. By correctly positioning the diff laterally it allowed me to retain the cento driveshafts without modification.

The only real catch is that the engine ends up on the bumper due to sprocket sizes. IMO the only reason it shouldn't be done. A gear diff might sort that out but they're upwards of £600.
