Does a MK1 interior not a MK2 then? Are they big jobs to replace? Would love to get rid of the horrible in mine.

Mk1 trim is a lighter plastic so they wont match your dash and console perfectly. Mk1 do not have side airbags option, the passenger airbag sensor might be an issue between each mk if you have passenger airbags, ive not checked.

Is the difference noticable with a quick glance or is obvious? Mine only has the one airbag so that shouldnt be a problem i dont think.
