Right folks I didnt know wether to tell you straight away or keep you waiting till the end anyhow I didnt get it. So after an hour and a halfs drive what should have took an hour I found the panda before I found his house anyhow I had a chance to have a bit look before he came out, it had a patch welded in the sills it was solid basically underneath was just about what you would expect it to be. The lad it belong to came out then and thats when I started to get this funny feeling especially when he opened the bonnet and I lifted it up and he put the key in to start it but first he pulled the choke out, I said what youre doing that for youve had it started its warm, you have to pullit out for a couple of minutes he says alright I said go ahead and it wouldnt start so I told him to push the choke in and it started I thought champion it sounded really nice. Oh I said looking under the bonnet again wheres your spare wheel, dont know he says well I said I was really expecting a spare wheel, what about if I knock £30 off he says, I that would be alright I said oh he says theres no petrol in Id better knock £20 off for that right I said we're getting somehwere wheres the paperwork its in the car he says so he gave me the form to fill in for change of ownership and what should have been the MOT by this time Id started to fill it in when I noticed a form sticking out with refusal on it, dam it my finger has gone numb Ill have to come back and finish it off later.

It's sad to hear that people stil doing that...my first Panda Parade in UK, I bought at 2am on ebay from Liverpool (99miles)...I asked for lots of question and only I knew about problem with radiator and some rust point on door...
but when I got ther I found out there she had some knock on front bumber, headlight wasn't fitted right (bulb around), very low tyres, weak handbreak...he didn't notice that...but I took it...after 2h on Motorway I almost lost silencer :(....
....any way after month and spent all weekends it was like new one...but it's awful when you need drive 2h to see that :(

got my feeling back now so Ill fill you in on the rest I pulled the form out and says whats this, MOT he says no it isnt I said oh it must be in the house so off he dashed with the form Id filled in oy I shouted not be long he shouted so off he went. Oh forgot to mention the slight discolouration on the bonnet due to having had a sticker on had been covering a bit rust, and the silencer at the back was blowing which is why I got another £50 knocked off . Well a quarter of an hor later he came trotting back the MOT cert must be in the car somewhere so he had a bit rake about and Ill go and have a look in my other car he says so off he goes again 20 mins later its not there so afew more of these little tours to look for it to his garage and to his house and back his other car and back, right I said wheres that form I filled in I want to scribbled my name and address out thats it Ive been here long enough, right Ill go and get it he says so after numerous back and forths because hed forgot where hed put it he turned up with it. I scribbled my name and address out jumped in the car with my wife and off I went home nearly 3hours late form my fish and chips. The daft bit about it the car had to have been MOTd to get the tax. Ive probably missed some stuff out but Im knackered.

Sorry to hear that...it must be something to do with 1000S pandas...i went to Chatham to see a red one...no rust...yeah right!!!....blowing exhaust and a clutch which would have only lasted the trip home!!!....Oh..he said...never noticed all that!!!

They never do.

Everytime I've sold a Panda on eBay the buyer always say's "You've made it out to be worse than it is on the listing", which I think is the way it should be done! :)

A bit more info I forgot the bottom lip of the boot about 6" non exsistant under the rubber, the rust on the bonnet I mentioned was 2 or 3 inches long like a mouth, the wires for the radio had been butchered, the rear wiper was missing and didnt work, I have a pic of the refusal notice I took when he was off on one his jaunts I didnt get all of the page in and there was another page but he came back before I could take a pic. Had I thought about doing it earlier I could have had it all on my phone. Well thats about it dont think theres anything else.
