This car sounds dead, and with no pictures not very helpful. Manchester is a bit far to go on a gamble as well:eek:

Tempted to ask for some photos and then see if there is anything good left. IF so, buy it and scrap it in manchester after stripping it of parts. Just spit balling some ideas here. Headlights and grill would be worth a go. (pauses to think - I think I'm a bit panda mad!! I need restraints ).

pictures? tried to load them yesterday, photo service had probs(!) whole of floor is good, going at the cill d/side, the verticle part, 19mm .yes you are panda mad, I own 2, plus i have parts that would have you in estastay!and....you are using the `s` word!

Grille is easy to get Si....

Well a mk2 one is. And a metal mk1 grill too, but try finding a mk1 plastic grille like all the 4x4's were fitted with, and the panda 45S. They are more upright to match the angle of the headlights and the shallower front bumber. I did go through all the ads from the ebay shop you sent me too. But all seem to be mk2, mk3 or new panda grilles.

Hello there, I apologise for using the s word. Soft spot for any panda owner i know. But I have saved 2 mk1's already because I am not prepared to let them go that way and this leaves me with much less spares. No disrespect intended but your advert made the car sound like its seen better days to say the least. Standing for 6 years, engine dead, doors rotten, interior patchy, and vandal damage to the side panels. I would love to see it saved, and if someone elses initial judgement is different I will have a beaming grin on my face.

I'll check out the photos when you load them up, allways nice to see another mk1. But I have to be honest, the car is safe from me as its just too far to go.

Do you have 2 mk1's too then? We all like piccies here, I'd love to see mk1 or mk2. Are you a 4x4 man or 2wd?

I hope you werent too taken back by my frivalous use of the s word :p, I will hold back my judgement till I see evidence next time.

no offence taken, I own a mk1,45cl(metal grill) and a mk2,1000s super, the mk2 was at gaydon in feb 09, H7 VKS, AS FOR THE PICTURES! ebay make my blood boil!can`t fix the fault with picture service quickly ( C.B.A.)

Sorry Si...thought you ment the metal mk1 grille...

Its ok, I dont think many people know how much changed between a mk1 and mk2. Even the parts that look similar are different!

Glad to hear all is cool! Sorry to hear about your trouble with ebay, looks like I've got some fun ahead when I come to sell the white mk1 4x4. Speaking of which, I must now get on with that. And the engine build project needs a nudge again. I'll check out the gaydon photo's to find your's too.

I waved at you and gestured "what happened" while you were being towed by the AA, annd was parked next to mine, the number plate is a private plate, I bought it for my daughter, but i liked the low number, 7 is my lucky number (apparently) so i put it on the panda, the look i get off cateram 7 owners when they see the plate(priceless).the origanal plate was J408LLX (LONDON)
