I Know It's Not Italian But....

I remember a twin engined Mk2 featuring in Max Power, way back in the days before it became a porn mag.

I always wondered though as to the effectiveness of two engines? Surely better to have one big one?

Did you know there was a production twin engined 2CV?

Thats just lunacy...

I cant see how a switchable 2WD/4WD system would work...unless both engines were linked to the same gearbox, then that handled taking power to the wheels.

Twin engined 2CV? That would be surreal, elaborate James!!

2cv

It wasn't any performance model ;)

One was featured in practical classics a while back, it was a crude solution to providing 4wheel drive, I think each engine was around 12bhp or something.

It was called something imaginative like safari :D

All nice cars...

But very... whats the word...

Sterile?

Functional?

Not saying I wouldn't have one, but there is just something too perfect about German engineering.

I reckon that view in most of us probably stems from an unease at the prospect of a 'pure Aryan (SP) Race' all a bit chilling really.

:eek:fftopic:

A twin engined 2cv was featured in Colin McRae Rally 4. It was poo but was a good car to give to newbies of the game. The Punto in the game was also shockingly bad, i used the MG as my 2wd car of choice and subaru or focus as 4wd. Prob with the focus was it had a longer bonnet and i kept cutting corners to tight and wrapping the front round trees.

german cars are ok apart from BMW that are common pieces of sh*te IMO.

Porsche are ok but there not for people that want a real super car theyve got to much electronics and traction controls, etc to tame it, where as if you buy a TVR, Marcos or Noble you get none of those luxurys just a light weight car with an engine producing a raw amount of power. Give me a TVR over a Porsche anyday (y)

Oh yeah and that golf is a bit (n)
