Amazing America has amounted to anything with citizens like this. So colossally stupid. They donít even understand that American constitutional rights and freedoms are from government, and aimed at control of government oppression. They donít affect what a private business on its own private property can demand of its guests. Perfectly OK for Walmart to make customers wear pants, not take a piss on the floor, not attack the other customers, and yes, wear a mask if they say so. If you donít like it, go to another superstore. And dumb asses like the guy featured in the news story are usually the type to shout all sorts of nonsense about America being the enemy of socialism, and how socialism is evil, etc. Yet, for the government to force Walmart to let him parade around inside their store without a mask would require the very kind of socialist business control that his type rails against. Dumb dumb dumb all around. We deserve what we are getting here.

They have the right to refuse to wear a mask. They have the right to become infected with a deadly disease.

They do not have the right to infect others without those others' express permission. Therefore, if they choose to not wear a mask, they may breath in, but not out, when around others. If they become infected, should any rights to free health care be reduced or revoked?

In Illinois (Democratic stronghold) its now a felony (a crime punishable by death or imprisonment in excess of one year.) to assault any worker enforcing mask law. in the uk you will probably just get a caution.

Is 'transportation' to the colonies specifically ruled out?

Send them to the arctic, with a transparent tent, to count polar bears.

Re: Coronavirus - The Thread :(

I came back into the UK yesterday via the Eurotunnel. To say it was busy is an understatement.....it was rammed packed with cars going back to the UK.....regardless of the fact quarantine has been in place for the last couple of weeks.

I got to the UK Border check, scanned my passport.....that was it....no mention of the locator form etc.....didn't ask where I'd been or anything.

Judging by the speed of the line going through in front of me, the other 30+ cars in front of me weren't asked either.....and I'm guessing all the other queues were the same.

I did fill in the form, and will be self isolating......but really shows what a joke the system is.

A work colleague has been going backwards & forwards to Holland by van several times a month all through the "lockdown", they have occasionally been given a form re quarantine, but there was simply a tick box to confirm exemption....

Re: Coronavirus - The Thread :(

Unbelievable, all through lockdown Iíve said so many times, there are elements of it doesnít refer to me attitude. Even if some of us donít catch the virus, those that do due to selfish thoughtless barstewrds, areas get shut down again if the numbers go high. We seem to be lucky up here but my wife and I are curtailed on where we can go due to family circumstances.

Iíve stopped work since January and I will not be going back partly because of the virus situation. My private pension has came through and Iíd be silly to carry on working, so Iím retiring early, only by just over a year. Lifeís too short and all that. When I turn 66 I will receive the state pension, so thatíll be good. still bad times, I would have liked to worked my last year in an ideal world, but there are health factors as well. So, thatís my wee rant over for now.

Thanks
Neighbouring borough..
Border is 1/2 mile from my village..
So I drive through Caerfilli County every trip out

Apparently its centre of infection is Blackwood.. in the next valley.. but the regional shopping town

All related to the 'party flights ' from Cardiff to Greece

Caerphilly town in only just north of Cardiff in reality..( Im assuming the M4 is the regional boundary)

Looks like we could be in for a rough winter

Re: Coronavirus - The Thread :(

People moaning about new covid restriction. most of them have not been wearing a mask properly when asked to, have not been using the one way systems marked out in most towns and not been social distancing for weeks.
Shops dont help small ones seem to be doing ok but big ones have removed or stopped topping up hand and trolley cleaner and have removed all social distancing.
I hate the government and will be the first to point out their faults, but if people are going to just be total idiots all the time restrictions are going to have to be strict, if people dont get a grip there wont be a xmas this year.
The 2m rule has never been abolished.
Stop making up bull poop excuses why you think you are exempt from a mask when you can breath in one or at least with a face shield so just wear it.

Re: Coronavirus - The Thread :(

Why have People stopped using hand sanitiser and cleaning shopping trolleys?
why have so many shops stopped proving it on entry.
Why are people walking around with their nose sticking out of the top of their mask?
Why have large supermarkets abolished one way systems and social distancing markers since the mask law came out, it was meant to be an as well as not an instead of.
Thousands of idiots are blaming everyone else for the rise in cases and new restrictions and lack of testing but doing nothing to control the virus them selves.
