there are there signs on floors and posts, lots of people walk around just looking at the phones though. so never even see them.

Well the expert bloke on the radio today confirmed that the rise in cases has nothing at all to do with more people being tested as the percentages of positives has also risen, not just the total numbers.

On the plus side i have found local sainsbury's still have covid secure measures in place unlike asda, waitrose and tesco so i will be shopping there now.

The "expert" bloke is part of a very small group of "experts" that the Govt is choosing to listen to. There are plenty of other experts who are actually experts in the specifics of epidemiology and viruses, (rather than Whitty and Vallance who are neither) who would argue that there are huge numbers of false positives which is leading this new panic.
That and prof Ferguson and his infamous modelling (aka guessing with the aid of a computer) who has never got any model right all the way back to SARs and bird flu.
But apart from that - I wondered if anybody knows what a good outcome of this would be? What is the strategy behind another lockdown of whatever degree?

what about the people who are telling us hospital are seeing dramatic rise of people going in due to covid. are they hand picked by the government to tell us lies too?

You are convinced that they are telling you the truth. Fair enough. Your prerogative.
But as I keep asking - what is the aim here? What would be a good outcome for another lockdown? When does it end?

I didn't say we need another lockdown, If i was in charge i would clamp down on supermarkets, make it law that all staff wear a face covering, make it law for them to be proving sanitiser easy to see at the door and all around the store and have staff reminding people to use it, put back the one way systems and make it law to use them even the staff.

I went to asda earlier was the only one who sanitised on the way in again, I used the toilet, washed my hands but then had to use door handle to get out, there was no sanitiser to use outside the toilet, luckily i carry my own.

Anyone exempt for a mask who wont wear a shield must not enter any indoor public space.

It can either end when we are all dead or end when people stop the spread.

We won't be all dead. This is a virus that has minimal impact on nearly everybody that catches it. Yes the risk is greater with age. The average age of a person dying from it in this country I believe is 84.And the majority of all ages recover from it.So a young person has almost no risk at all. This is not ebola. Many more people are dying everyday as they always do, than from CV-19. Average deaths in the UK every single day are about 1600. But do we read out the reasons like a football score? No of course not.
People can not stop the spread. It is an impossibility. CV-19 is just a new version of many similar viruses from the past. You have said yourself that you are not in favour of another lockdown. The only way you could stop the virus artificially is if literally nobody ever left the house.

Conspiracy theorists are people that think there is no virus, it is all down to 5g masts and Bill Gates etc etc. David Icke comes to mind. Questioning the fact that we are only being shown very carefully chosen charts and comparisons with only certain countries is hardly being a conspiracy theorist is it? Questioning why very eminent scientists have written to the Government to beg them to consider that they might just be on the wrong track - does that make them all conspiracy theorists?
This virus is following the same trajectory as all corona viruses have in the past. And what did the government expect to happen once they told people to go back to work?

I will add that I have no argument with measures such as hand sanitisers in supermarkets. Probably a great idea actually because people will have virus on their hands from fiddling with a mask that has been on and off several times.
Also if one way systems make poeple feel safer then again it is no problem.

I presume by that you know that everybody who has died in hospital over this last 7 months has had their cause of death accurately recorded, 100%?
In my immediate family we know of 4 people who have died from long term illnesses in the last year. Unfortunately but it was coming. All different reasons.
In each case they rejected "covid" being conveniently entered as the cause of death because it was not the cause of death. They were then told that the body could be released quicker if covid was entered but they refused as this was not only dishonest, innacurate and unethical.But that is not the point.
I am not sure that Boris reads anything at all. He can't see because his eyes are blinded in the headlights like a rabbit.
Anyway let's hope this turns out well for all our sakes.

In my immediate family we know of 4 people who have died from long term illnesses in the last year. Unfortunately but it was coming.

so not from traffic accidents then.
we lost 2 early lockdown i am pretty sure the one in a carehome contracted covid but not tested not put on death certificate, later lots in the same home were confirmed as having it. the other was given 6 months to live 6 years ago but was surviving until covid hit, not tested not put on death certificate.

i dont think rabbits do get stunned by headlights i try to get one to stop every time i go down the track at my unit in the dark but can never get one to stop so i can get out and stroke it

Do you think any benefit of this will outweigh the deaths that will come along from other causes due to the NHS being only obsessed with Covid to the extent that GP's are avoiding face to face consultations?

I have deliberately not mentioned the economy here.

Check what Michael Levitt has been saying from the outset. The Sweden approach was always the best option but UK was bounced into a lock-down by the like of Whitty, Vallance and Ferguson. We now have the NHS in-house testing service up and running (nearly) and they have to justify its existence. This isn't conspiracy theory it's just NHS one-size-fits-all sickness service in action.
Despite WHO with their fraudulent clinical trials on intensive care patients, HCQ has been shown to work. Thankfully, the US FDA has eventually allowed anti malarials for emergency use against Covid-19. However, just as with Malaria, it is only effective in the early stages. Even better taken before the infection happens.

I can’t believe what I’m going to say here, it beggars belief. Bad girls bakery is lovely wee place that sells bespoke cakes baked on site, coffee as well, a great stop off place for those that are in the know. We cycle there every weekend and indulge.

Just read on their website that in all the time they have kept open and making sure they keep to the rules with customers, they had to ban a customer, he refused to wear a mask and kicked off big time saying all sorts of things including “ the so called virus is just a load of ********” We know the owners and this is the only time they have had to do this. We have dickheads up here as well, sadly.

no not a smoker, but things have seemed to have gone down the wrong hole more often since my breathing got worse at end of February.

ive been waiting to see specialist since early march, got doctor to chase it up last months after my antibody test came back positive. But all i got was a letter from the hospital this week saying they haven't forgotten me but are too busy to see me atm
I need him to refer me to speech an language as its them who test swallow

did they test positive for covid or have symptoms? If someone has cancer but time left but then get covid and it takes that time away then its covid that took the life
