Anyone visited a dentist lately?
If only.....back in early April, just after lockdown started, I had a rather large filling come out.
The emergency dentist wouldn't put a filling in as it involved drilling which created aerosol..... would only pull it out. No thanks, I'd rather deal with the pain and wait and get it fixed....I've already had a tooth out the other side....i want to keep as many as possible.
Fast forward 4.5 months later, and my dentist is still closed.
Supposedly, they don't have any PPE, and so are unable to open, and when they do, it could be up to 2 months until I get an appointment as they've got a list to work through.
Is lack of PPE still such an issue? Or are they just using it as an excuse?
Anyway, I'm on holiday in the south of France (where despite the daily case numbers, it feels far far safer than UK, plus due to lack tourists, it is pretty deserted).
I've got an appointment with a local dentist here this afternoon, so hopefully I'll be out of pain finally ?
