Compelling doesn't mean true...
Lets clarify what you are calling "research" you've watched some knowingly questionable conspiracy theorists on the internet, and spoke to a bloke in a prison. Versus people, like myself who have actually worked with and are still working with people who have had and are still recovering from this virus.
This is not a place to promote your religion, they cause enough wars in this world as it is, this thread is not for that nor this forum.
OK, I did ask where is YOUR god, but you have not really answered that. It’s entirely up to you to prove an existence,not for I to prove not. Now, up to the present day, there has been no proof what’s so ever of any kind of a god. All this nonsense of telling people to look after yer selves

Well, not by the likes of this. I’m still not 100% convinced that is just a wind up, I have heard of things like this just for the hell of it. Some can get their kicks by unsuspecting ways, nothing really surprises me nowadays.
oh sadly its not a windup there are groups on facebook with thousands of people all the same as this one, They wont believe a single thing on the news on tv even the bits said by people who have worked studying viruses all their life. but will believe any random who can make a YouTube video :spin:

Faith is a belief in something that cannot be proven.
Facts don't care whether you believe them or not.
My experience is that those that shout about faith the loudest, seem to be trying to reinforce their own beliefs, and quell their own doubts.
My partner's mum had a very strong faith, which guided her throughout her life, but never did she try to influence anyone else or even mention it to steer any discussion or argument.
You can have no faith in any god, and still be a good person.

I think there are many people with a strong faith who would take the money, and many without any faith who would not.
If you believe that covid is a myth, please put yourself forward for the vaccine testing, and be one of those with a placebo. We await the proof.

I do like to read, but not as I said, not a paragraph in site for starters, and especially no extremist religious Bletherings. Bill has said what most on here are thinking. I can’t be arsed to play anymore. So I’m oot.

Yep! That's what many of us are thinking right now.
Some people will fixate on a small part of anything that may be said, in any context, not just medical matters, then misconstrue it and act on it. With medical matters small points may become dangerous if not taken in context with the rest of the detail.
With regard to Covid, there have been so many opinions that do not follow facts, and there have been irresponsible actions resulting. There has also been a lot of absolute rubbish put out. If considered dangerous, it may be censored. Bear in mind it is the hosting organisation doing the responsible censoring, not government.
Covid has killed people.
It has infected many more who have recovered, to varying degrees. Those unaffected may shout that it is a myth, but those affected will not. Of those unaffected, a few are shouting about conspiracy theories, believed by others. If you choose not to believe that this is a deadly virus, that's is your decision, but don't go near anyone else and risk passing on any infection.
If you believe that, as much as your other beliefs, you've just shot yourself in the foot.
Nowhere have I said what I believe, you are making an assumption, but you already believe it, based on no facts at all.

Proper reputable scientists researches, experts and doctors, do not publish their work or anything with any scientific credibility on YouTube, this is why we have journals and systems where by others experts and scientists can review someone else’s research before It is deemed to hold credibility.
People who post everything to YouTube have no credibility and are looking to overrule the normal systems which would highlight their ramblings as nonsense.
YouTube is just as full of crazies as the rest of the Internet so why would you put your faith in someone you don’t know posting on an open forum?
If you look between the lines there are a lot of people out their who are seriously mentally ill, who because of the closure of many institutions are not deemed to be a danger to themself or anyone else and can be left to live in public but who might have some very bizarre ideas, beliefs and delusions. Clicking through YouTube videos you could be watching a perfectly sane person or you could be watching the videos of someone who is experiencing delusions or psychosis, why would you put any faith in a YouTube video not knowing what you’re watching?
Even more dangerous than that are those either looking to make a name for themself or looking to make money, these are the organised “independent journalists” who will feed a belief or narrative to keep you coming back again and again as they make money from your watching their videos, they make money by selling you their latest book or pod cast or what ever service they are trying to sell they are “independent” in that they don’t abide by any of the rules or regulations that the press and wider media have to stick to and so they can pretty much say what they want....
I could claim that god has spoken to me and told me that those who do not wear a mask will go to hell, this is gods test of faith, those who take seriously the warning of god in the form of this terrible virus will be rewarded while those who reject the lord will be punished with suffering and death, because let’s be honest if the bible is to be believed god is very good at testing people and killing those who reject him.
You didn’t hear Noah saying that he didn’t believe in foods and that there was no evidence to support an ark would be affective against a freak global weather system, also the floods probably were not going to be as bad as was claimed and it was probably a government conspiracy to reduce the population maybe even Noah organised the flood to kill of most of man kind because he wanted power... he would after all own all the animals so could charge any survivors for milk, meat and any other animal based products, while using......
You get the idea you can twist anything you want to mean anything you want, and that’s what these YouTubers do they are only out for themselves and what they can get out if it.
You’ll watch any video that looks to confirm you own beliefs but I bet you don’t watch anything that proves your beliefs to be wrong?
