I'm a new member and don't wish to offend anyone but the facts do not support the allegation of COVID-19 being a deadlier than ordinary flu. I have spoken to people in correctional facilities who were there at the height of the death reporting, where social distancing was a fiction, and they have confirmed all were exposed, a few got sick, no one died. This is corroborated over and over again with everyone I speak to. I am beginning to believe Alex Jones, Gary Knoll and others who have been telling us the real reason for the disruption and the masks is to complete the political capture of independent nation states. Trump, Bolsinaro and others are some of the few brave men who are opposing these very rich and powerful people and we would be wise to support them until more of the truth comes out.
“I spoke to a guy who told me..... then I spoke to some other guys” but it seems you don’t have any first hand experience? Maybe go talk to the doctors and nurses working to fight the illness than some guy at a prison?
If this were to capture independent nation states, then were are all the news stories about independent nation states being captured and with trump being the president of the United States would he not be the person in charge of this plan, he is the commander and chief so has the final say on just about anything military that happens. If this theory were true then trump wouldn’t be telling the truth he’d be the one pulling the strings.
Also the whole world is feeling the effects of this, Do you honestly think it possible to get every country in the world involved in the same conspiracy just to capture some independent states? Countries destroying their own economies for what actual gain?

Which broken down means the fool thinks he is wise when he is not, while the wise man would know his limitations, he would know there are things he doesn’t know and therefore knows he is a fool
While I would not normally give any credence to Shakespeare quotes given that he was just a playwright, and not an expert, scientist or philosopher, in this particular instance, he was highlighting something that has been since investigated, explained and even has its own name which is the
Dunning–Kruger effect
It’s worth looking at because Trump is the perfect example of that effect in action.

I’m not sure Shakespeare did say this, nor what it would mean if he had?
The USA has seen the worst of the deaths, and you could argue that the death rate would be substantially higher if it were not for the extremely well equipped hospitals and highly Doctors and nurses working in health care, also that we have a much better understanding of how to treat COVID patients and keep them alive than we did back in March and April, however it is killing and has killed a lot of young people, and people who were otherwise very healthy. It has also killed a lot of more unhealthy but still young, and it has killed a lot of old people. It is a new virus that the population as a whole has not been exposed to so any exposure means the immune system has to start fighting something it knows nothing about, and without the tools (antibodies) to fight it.
The flu on the other hand is something that has been around for thousands of years, is extremely well known to the immune system of almost everyone on earth and given that most people will have had it at some point we will all have some antibodies, meaning if you get infected, while you might get symptoms you will quickly fight it off. There are also flu vaccinations that we can roll out to vulnerable people to give them protection against the flu.
So if the flu does kill it is only causing death in instances where someone has a highly compromised immune system, or in people that are very old or generally unwell and unable to fight the virus.
People who catch the flu can stay at home drink plenty and spend a week or two in bed, people with COVID often need hospitalisation, and support with breathing.
If you want to look purely at the number of deaths you could possibly make an argument especially now about how COVID doesn’t kill anymore people than the flu, but if you look at the number of people in hospital and the treatments they need to keep them alive then you can quickly see how much more dangerous this virus is than the flu.
Anyone who thinks this is all some conspiracy theory to cover up something else, needs to look at how it is affecting the whole world, do you think you could get the leaders of every country in the world involved in one conspiracy together when you can’t even get republicans and democrats to agree on anything. Trump can’t even agree with himself most of the time.
