Well done Ben. Nothing is ever 100% but this Forum is a paragon of stability compared to the grief some are suffering.

Ideally it needs a complete rewrite, but I just don't have the time to do it - so I patch in what I can to keep things running

Gallery now works on mobile (limited pages converted, but the main ones - view gallery, view image, upload) - with new option in the slide out menu bar

It seems to be running much faster.

One question

It's always done this but why does the forum add one or even two blank lines when a single blank line is used. But adds no lines when no blank line is used.

You can edit out those blanks and all will be fine but add another paragraph to the edit and it slips in some more lines.

This is not a big deal but would be nice to lose it.

Are you on one of the mobile apps? If so, Android or iOS? If not, what desktop browser are you using?
I've never seen this on desktop (Firefox or Chrome), but I don't often post from the Android app and don't use iOS at all so haven't seen it myself.

It's a 2012 MacBook running High SIerra 10.13.5. Does the same in Safari or in Firefox. After some log in issues a month ago, I now always use Firefox for Fiat Forum. I'm keeping away from Windows 10.

The line formatting is no big deal.

I’ve had that same problem with Chrome running on Windows 7.

Only major problem I’m having in the last few days is that sometimes, a thread loads as a blank box under the header/menu. No posts show.

A minor problem is that the blue Stilo pictured in the header has Punto Sporting alloys

So that’s most of us using desktop PCs having the same blank-lines problem... good thing I usually use iPhone/Safari (full site) and don’t have the problem

Sure, one of the fastest if not the fastest forum I've been browsing and after a while you get used to those little 'specials'. If not one could still preview the post before pushing it on line …

Ah yes - this will happen as the mobile app doesn't support the classifieds redirect (i guess the mobile site doesn't either - I will look into fixing that) - nice catch!
