you dont happen to know the cylinder head spline bolt size for the 3.1 TD jeep engine do you?

also the panda classic section is the best. you know it.. we know it... the rest of the forum is just living in denial of our superior flat paneld, flappy dashborded, boxy ways. :D

Future!

Ok made a few tiny (but possibly significant) changes to the leaderboard now.

Firstly, cars with 0 votes will no longer appear at all (so down to 36 pages now :))

Secondly, for cars that have equal amounts of votes, the position goes by who got to that number first. So an earlier vote will beat a later result (it used to go by thread date).

Which means sorry Dragon Man, you're back to number 2 :p

I'll be nice and put him back to number 1. ;) :D

this is main issue here. Chalky, like so many other builds, didn't have a amazing first post its later on in the post that people start liking posts on the big builds.
Classic panda people just like every post each other make period haha. But no seriously, you start a panda thread and its already, 'yay, you are saving another panda' or 'yay, that panda has a new owner and lives on' etc. No-one does that about a seicento cause they are not uncommon and/or rare yet - pretty sure my old turbo sei is only really up there is cause i hadn't posted in ages and ages about it and alot of the currently members had never seen it and the first post is massive with loads of pics and history upto that point type post and not, 'this is my seicento, i am gonna do this, will keep you posted' which is how most members motors threads start really and them posts don't really warrant a like in most cases. (unless you are a classic panda owner and have overwhelming desire to pat each other on the back).

Ok, well I've been playing with DB queries and you're right, if you include likes from all posts written by the OP, the table looks somewhat different.

However, I can't get a sub 2 second loading time (it's a huge resource intensive query) - so the only way to do it, would be to make the table non-live - updating every 10 minutes or so.

I'll try that now and show you the alternative table.

Thats OK ben, we'll just like every post in the thread - we love our pandas :p

Ok, and there we go.

So to summarise.

System now counts all likes in a thread made against posts by the thread starter.
However, it only counts one like per individual user, so even if you like all the OP's posts, they will still only get 1 like on the hall of fame.
To allow for the higher DB processing, wall now updates every 10 mins.

So there you go :)

I can't be bothered with all of this, it's been made so complicated.
And basically the panda section is now part of the fiorino section.
It's only the panda owners doing this ''hall of fame thing''
