Hello, I have recently purchased a abarth supersport 62 reg very pleased with it, but recently noticed that the rear left side, side light led are duller than the right? Are the LEDS replaceable? Or would I need a whole new light? I bought the car 4weeks ago, should I ask the dealer to fix the problem? Many thanks alex

Take it back to an Abarth dealer, 62 plate will still be under warranty

Judging by what Andy Monty has said here https://www.fiatforum.com/punto-evo/340879-rear-running-lights.html?p=3390643 there are 2 LED's, and perhaps one may have failed?

Can be the small connector inside the light.

In any way, back to the dealer. LED light should last more than the car (LED standard lifetime, 50-100'000 h, even with 50'000h and 4 hour per day, this mean more than 30 years....)

Got the car back last night! Had to wait for the part to come in, they have changed the rear light cluster and all working fine now (touchwood) thanks for the help guys

My dealer told me that Lights / LED's are not covered under warranty as it's wear n tear.

How much does Fiat / Abarth charge for a rear light cluster if the LED's fails..?

LED's are a not a replaceable consumable part, return to them and insist they replace it, other dealers have and do.

But most parts have a life expectancy and the led lights should certainly last longer than a 3 year warranty.

I've got this as from this morning:

Is this correct or should the light go all the way down to where the arrow is pointing..? Will this light cluster be on it's way out and i'll have to replace it..

It should light up just as much as the other side does

The other side (Left side) has failed,thankfully it is covered under the Warranty & car going in tomorrow for a check up n parts arrive on Friday, which is going to be tight as I drive to south Holland on Monday.

The dealer changed both rear clusters this morning within 1/2 hour.

Yeah 2 screws per unit, one plug. Very easy to change a light or a bulb; the good practical Fiat design

Not so easy to pull off though and with the angular sharp design it would be easy to damage the paint.
