I curbed my nearside front alloy this morning after some w**ker forced me to move over or hit him this morning.

I phoned my dealer for a quote and it's £380+VAT for a new Abarth Punto EVO alloy. That's just for one, not four, one!! :bang:

Might have to change them over to a set of Momo wheels.

even if it was a lot cheaper would you seriously have bought a new one though just for a bit of curbing?

i know its a shame but i wouldnt fork out cash to repair it...then again, guess my alloys were already curbed to **** when i bought it!

might be worth seeing how much a local repair place will charge you

if you do go over to momo look on the bright side you will make a ton selling your old ones

I like that my car is (or was) pristine and yes I would pay to have it back that way. May just wait for a bit and see what I fancy doing.

Yeah I’m the same with my car, can’t stand any marks on it at all.

As has already been said, you be best to get the alloy refurbished if you want to keep the standard look (which is nice ). If you go for aftermarket alloys you tend to save some weight… which is always a good thing , although it would depend on the alloys, but I have found that the Fiat alloys tend to be heavier than most.
I use after markets alloys for my summer tyres and the genuine Fiats for the winter tyres.(y)

i too like my cars to look unmarked also.
i bought the mrs a brand new grande punto tjet in 2009 and with-in four weeks a new neighbour moved into our street and had a house warming party.

anyway we woke up to find a full can of beer laying next to our car and a dent in the wing.
so i'm gutted for you.
