so pretty much 17k OTR base version, which isnt bad... slots in nicely in the whole fiat evo range.

Still, too rich for my blood unfortunately!

Frankly, doesn't seem like a big step up from the Sport (Sporting). Just a few extra touches, gearshift on the steering wheel may be fun.

As far as I recall, I don't think it's hugely faster either.

Can't wait to see it in the flesh/metal. I'm off to Goodwood this week and it's gonna be great.

Just read that PDF properly, the last bit is the cut and paste from the A500c, someone got it horribly wrong

The other Abarth was only 0.7 seconds quicker, or around 1-1.1 seconds with the sports button on.

Although it is a completely different car to drive, trust me it is a big step up. I went from a 120bhp Sporting, to an Abarth after owning the sporting for 11 months, totally different driving experience.

I know I am driving a different model, but I would expect there the be a big difference between the Evo and the Evo Abarth, although I have no idea why they have kept the bloody plastic number plate surround!

Me and two other FF users had a quick comparison of our cars speed (My Abarth, S1 180bhp sporting, S2 120bhp sporting) and time of 0-60 etc, there is barely anything noticable that can be noticed especially with a rolling start.

The difference you would ever see is the smile on the Abarth Drivers face and also times around a track with drivers of equal skill

My opinions sorry to wander into this section lol
Thanks miura74 thanked for this post

Would be interesting to see how the Grande Abarth compared speed wise to the Evo Sporting as the Sporting Evo is advertised as being marginally quicker than the Grande T-jet, and having driven both Id probably agree.

Re: Abarth Punto Evo Details Announced

Well if you fancy a drive down to london then we can try :P

Although I am up in newcastle around October sorta time, going to Altwick Castle so if you can find a nice road, thats national speed limit can have a try up to 70 from rolling start on a dual carriage way.

0-62 Abarth is faster, but you should notice little difference in the in gear times I reckon, although the sport button will help
