Potential new AGP owner question!

Hi all!
After being out of FIAT ownership for the last three years, I'm thinking of coming back! I've been to see an AGP this morning which was marketed at a 155bhp model, however the sticker on the inside drivers door says 1.4 T-JET 180 Esseesse. What are the chances of this being an actual Esseesse version? Is there anything I should be looking out for to quickly check? Stupidly I didn't look through any of the service book as had a few garages to get round this morning!

Cheers!

Re: Potential new AGP owner question!

Hey MP88, I know literally nothing about the AGP however I personaly didn't think that the essesse could come built from the factory, and always thought it was a after purchase upgrade. Unless Abarth change the sticker whilst fitting the essesse upgrade it seems pretty suspect, especially as it's marketed as the 155bhp model. If it is legit, and the price is for a 155bhp, you're in for a bargain, hopefully someone with more knowledge of an AGP will verify and you can join the FIAT brotherhood again.

Lob the registration into an app called MyCarCheck.

It will bring back the model details including it's power output

Welcome! My GP is 77bhp and it's still one hell of a car.

Re: Potential new AGP owner question!

On mycarcheck all will come back with 155 bhp even if they are 180 as it was a dealer upgrade the original car was produced with 155, this is the same as mine. Try putting a number plate form an esseesse in and you will see.

@Dankabarth thanks for the reply my friend, seems the op's potential AGP must be legit esseesse.
@MP88 you may be in for one hell of a surprise if you went ahead and bought what you though to be the 150bhp model!

Re: Potential new AGP owner question!

Well I'm no longer a potential owner, bought the car on Wednesday!!! Absolute bonus if it is the 180 model!

Would put some pics up but these muddy Essex roads have not helped the white paintwork one bit!!

Thanks all!!!
