hi anyone had this issue with some of the lights on the cluster where they become slightly illuminated after driving at night and when i take the key out the seat belt one and the airbag light are still visable slightly lit up even when the car is locked ?

its a 2010 evo sporting 135

I've had the radio button lights half-on under the same circumstances. I think it's probabl yto do with the Body Control Module. Oddly enough, I thought I'd sorted it by taking it out and spraying all the contacts with switch cleaner, but it started doing it again. It's seems to do it when the weather is wet.

hi thanks the car is still under warrenty with the garage i have bought it off is it worth trying to get it changed by them or has it never caused you any other problems

thanks

I would ABSOLUTELY get it sorted by them! No, it hasn't caused me any problems and to be honest, I could probably leave the car for a fortnight before it flattened the battery, but I wouldn't want anything else to go wrong. I think Body Control Modules are big ££££ if they need replacing. You could maybe leave it until nearer the end of the warranty to make sure you get it replaced (if that's what the problem is) as late as possible though.
